While in San Diego recently my wife and I decided to take a trip to the Air & Space Museum. In addition to the normal exhibits at the museum, they currently have the Ripley's Believe It or Not! exhibit. One of the items from this exhibit is this Hulk figure created from used automobile parts.

Don's Bug Barn is an early model Volkswagen salvage yard located in East Texas. It is located outside Athens, TX on Highway 175. The cylinder head was sitting on a VW hood! I made this for a depth of field challenge with my photo club. Wasn't sure how the wide angle would do for that purpose. With my Tamron f/2.8 zoom I could have diminished the background considerably more, but I didn't want the extra weight of that lens for this walk about, which was an all day adventure. I'm too old for a lot of weight!
