Wie jedes Jahr startet bei uns die Baiersbronn Classic. Ich war seit langem mal wieder mit meiner Spiegelreflexkamera und einem Teleobjektiv unterwegs .. und ja, das ist schon etwas anderes als mit dem iPhone. 😎👍
As every year, the Baiersbronn Classic starts with us. I've been out and about with my SLR camera and a telephoto lens for a long time ... and yes, that's something different than with the iPhone. 😎👍
Der Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer ist ein österreichisches Militärfahrzeug. Er wurde als Nachfolger des Steyr-Puch Haflinger entwickelt und ist ein Wagen für schwerstes Gelände, der in Ausführungen mit zwei bzw. drei zuschaltbar/angetriebenen (sperrbaren) Achsen angeboten wird.
The Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer is an Austrian military vehicle. It was developed as the successor to the Steyr-Puch Haflinger and is a wagon for the toughest terrain, which is available in versions with two or three switchable/driven (lockable) axles.
...der Kaiser'schen Familienkutsche: ein Opel Kadett aus den späten 1930er Jahren. Und was haben 80 Jahre Entwicklung und 10 Autogenerationen bis zum Astra K gebracht? Fast einen halben Meter mehr Breite und ein knapper Meter mehr Länge, das Gewicht hat sich auf fast anderthalb Tonnen verdoppelt, dafür scharren unter der Haube 200 statt 23 Pferdchen - die gönnen sich aber auch etwa 2 Liter mehr Sprit auf 100 Kilometern. Der größte Unterschied liegt aber sicher vor dem Lenkrad - vor 80 Jahren war man vermutlich deutlich einsamer, geruhsamer und entspannter auf den Straßen des Landes unterwegs, als heutzutage.

Without a doubt, Flinders Street Station is Melbourne's most iconic building, possibly one of the most photographed too. I was really happy that there was some rain and really moody skies over the station as I headed home on Sunday night.

I've driven lots of Pontiacs throughout the years, although I don't recall driving this beauty before. Pontiac was a General Motors brand that went out of business in April of 2009. Kind of sad I think. I've enjoyed driving them over the years.
