Cavas is a cool wine shop that just opened. The bottles stay vacuum sealed at a pre-set temperature and dispense in sample, 1/2 glass, and full glass quantities. You simply insert a pre-paid card to register your credit. We were given two glasses and a plate of cheese, grapes, and peanuts. The store had nice lounging couches and areas to get water and clean your glasses. We bought a bottle of this Luigi Bosca.

Bit of an earlier one to my great aunties shape on a G plate. But it was the chrome trims that really caught my eye. Something makes me want one of these 4door 900's.
Automatic sprouter (EasyGreen MikroFarm) which mists the beans and seeds regularly while draining away the extra moisture. If you live in a remote rural area it is sometimes hard to get fresh greens. The rural grocery store offerings are often wilted and pricey.
French green lentils, alfalfa/radish/oriental mustard, red clover, adzuki, and speckled green peas.

at a rest area in Oklahoma. Weird! It wasn't that great either...the soap "spurt" was practically nonexistant, and the air dry time was ridiculous...you had to wait there for 60 seconds or so before the dryer would stop so you could "re soap and re wash" your hands properly the second time! I hate to be "against" change, but in this case, I like my old fashioned faucet and soap dispenser.
Needed a simple way to take group shots with my large format and have me in the photo as well. Found this Gem on the bay and it works like a charm. Now any of my cameras that accept a cable release can use this timer. Pretty nifty. Plus it has the added bonus of being insanely loud so you can tell when it's finished :)

Picked this out of VAST's dusty collection, isn't it a beauty?
Did a little research online and apparently it's from the 60s. It has a built-in meter, so you just set the aperture and focusing distance. I have a feeling the meter is not working anymore, but oh well, I won't know until I've gone through a roll with it.
