This picture is really just a single image. No compositing or stacking involved. There is a little of everything going on. It was captured at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge in Maryland. It was just after midnight July 11th, 2021. The clouds had been severely limiting all night long. Then there was some clearing. This picture is the result.

Note: This site is closed in the evening. I was part of a group that had authorization to be onsite this night.
