Experimenting with timelapse stacking - this is 61 shots stacked to create a visual of how the lights (and stars) moved during a recent show. Lots of fun to play with this technique!
Es war ein wirklich denkwürdiger Abend gestern! „smile“-Emoticon

First time in my life I spotted northern lights...I was blown away. People from Fairbanks, who have seen frequently aurora told me that this was a special night. The colors were amazing and I was happy that I could take a couple of sharpe pics. Taken at 2 a.m in Denali National Park.
A shot from the fantastic evening 17 March, 2015.
I will never forget how amazing it was to stand there under the Northern Lights.

When the last visible Aurora meets the remains of the sunset.
Throwing out one last aurora capture, taken on april the 2nd at Ørnfløy on Kvaløya, Norway. Just 45 minutes by car from Tromsø. This is a huge panoramic shot consisting of 10 vertical shots stiched together to make an almost 180 degrees view.
For all of you not living in this part of the world, I really hope you'll once will experience this, and if you do make the journey here, I really hope I'll see you around, Aurora watching
yesterday evening in the fjord, and what a night for aurora chasers. It started early at about 1900, and later on it was a spectacle in the sky.

First sighting of the illusive Aurora Borealis. Lasted intensely for thirty minutes then clouded over. Amazing nonetheless!
The night of Sept. 28 was a spectacular one for Aurora watchers. Lady Aurora came out to dance several time through the night, and it was a beautiful thing.
We have had a lot of northern lights activity lately. This image is from the shore of Malangen fjord a couple of days ago. I liked the mirror effect in the calm sea.
After 3 months with 24 hours daylight, the nights are getting darker every day, as the autumn is approaching. Then again the stars and the Aurora will be visible up here in the arctic. This picture was shot 11.09.2015.
