Even though I live in the middle of forests and lakes, I often go to the seashore, even if the nearest sea is more than 100 km from my home. I want to listen to the noise of the waves, relax in their monotonous rhythm and breathe in my lungs full of sea air. In rain, wind, storm and sunshine. As does my doggie Helmi.

My dog Helmi sits on the dock by the frozen lake, she watches my every step as I walk along the beach with my camera. The sun has just set and the sky has the last colors of the day as the blue moment begins. It is peaceful, there are footprints on the snowy ice, during the day there were few ice fishermen. An ordinary winter day turns towards evening. Finland.
