I wore this outfit on New Year's Eve many years ago (like 10 or so) it's nice to have a chance to wear it again.
The dress is from my sis (thanks sis!). I didn't have a large enough brooch so I'm wearing in my hair a brooch and two pairs of rhinestone earrings. I got this looooong cigarette holder at the party store awhile back. I knew it would come in handy some day.
If I had a hat like this one I would've done this picture. This one would've also been fun to do. Although I don't play guitar I did learn Moon River. In my key.

I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

German postcard by Kunst und Bild, Berlin, no. A 1079. Photo: Paramount. Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday (William Wyler, 1953).
Elegant, talented and funny Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993) was a Belgian-born, British-Dutch actress and humanitarian. After a start in European cinema, she became one of the most successful Hollywood stars of the 1950s and 1960s.
American actor Gregory Peck (1916-2003) was one of the postwar era's most successful Hollywood stars. For a long time, he was the moral conscience of the silver screen thanks to films like Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound (1945), The Yearling (1946), King Vidor's Duel in the Sun and Elia Kazan's social drama Gentleman's Agreement (1947). His performances embodied the virtues of strength, conviction, and intelligence highly valued by American audiences. As the studios' iron grip on Hollywood began to loosen, he also emerged among the very first stars to declare his creative independence, working almost solely in movies of his own choosing.
