In the Audi pavilion they have 5 or 6 cars. This one was the prettiest. It is low and wide for a great stance, good location of the wheels. great proportions, well balanced. It needs more rubber height and less rim diameter. Replace the carbon mirror caps with body colored caps. Nice looking rear lights.
It is €150k and electric. The fear I have with these things is this: the car is 'connected', it is no longer autonomous, and the factory can remotely configure the cars software. Maybe I'm just an old man but the manufacturer's goal is to make money. Via software, he can screw his customer. Yet another example of the brand new Hot Wheels Audi RS e-tron GT I couldn't resist grabbing from The Entertainer recently as part of 2022 Case H. Smartly styled all round with its distinctive coupe styling and strip style rear lights. Mint and boxed.
Someone who goes to the same gym as me has a real life Audi RS e-tron GT and i'm not ashamed to admit to being very impressed by its muscular styling and very classy interior. Its no coincidence that i've been a big fan of the Hot Wheels equivalent too which looks stock and well detailed.
This is its latest 2023 Case E recolour with its rather drab but fashionable grey hue.

With the price of basic Mainline Hot Wheels now soaring passed the 2.00 mark here in the UK buying duplicates is now strictly reserved for castings which I deem too good to grab just the one of. I definitely consider their Audi RS e-tron GT to be one such casting despite the judicious use of paint which unfortunately dulls its body lines.
Part of 2023 Case E found at B&M Bargains who thankfully at the moment still sell their Hot Wheels for well under 2.00.

I haven't gone too mad buying up loads of the latest HW 2022 Case P though I certainly couldn't resist picking up a few of these! I'm certainly no fan of Audi cars in real life though I do secretly rather admire the brutal beauty of their Audi RS e-tron GT. Replicated nicely by Hot Wheels especially in this rather vivid shade of bright red.

Thankfully UK collectors haven't had to wait TOO long for the 2022 Case P Hot Wheels assortment to arrive here with it now showing up at The Entertainer, Tesco and Matalan.
It certainly isn't the most loaded of batches but I was able to find a few decent releases such as this new Audi RS e-tron GT which for me looks better than its debut one. I'm really loving its vibrant bright red colour and contrasting black nose which replicates the real thing.

Hot Wheels 2022 Case H has hit the UK big time particularly at The Entertainer where so far i've found four fresh unopened boxes, though rather annoyingly not a single TH Morris Mini!
One of the new castings debuting in this assortment is their rather swish looking Audi RS e-tron GT, a rather attractive car in real life and replicated very well here in basic Mainline form.
Wonderfully stock in its execution with a shimmering metallic grey finish and full front and rear detailing. Mint and boxed.

Their new Audi RS e-tron GT comes very close to being as stock as a Matchbox and highlights how fast and good Mattel are at broadening their range which encompasses bizarre generics to detailed supercars. Having seen a real life Audi RS E-Tron GT in the car park of Tesco today I can certainly see why Hot Wheels thought to bring out their own replica. In a World dominated by SUV's its refreshing to see the continued popularity of classically and certainly dramatically styled normal cars.

Although Japan and Hong Kong Toys R Us stores didn't offer too much in the way of completely new Welly castings and recolours I hadn't already got, their price of just 1.00 was too much to resist! Especially as they cost nearly three times that amount whenever I see them in France.
Fully licensed castings such as their Audi RS e-tron GT which are every bit as good as their more expensive competitors and makes their weird and very sketchy Worldwide distribution even more frustrating!

Through shared ownership many of the new Jada releases coming through, particularly their Pink Slips series, are merely repackaged Majorette castings. That surely can't be a bad thing and although the MAJORETTE name remains on the baseplates the colours used appear to be totally unique to Jada.
Ironically this was my first experience of this Audi RS e-tron GT casting though I did find a Majorette badged equivalent too on the same holiday. Its certainly an extremely striking model capturing the sleek shape of the real car well and with some very nice premium touches including its acceptably bling alloy effect wheels.

The pretty new Majorette Audi RS e-tron GT was officially briefly available here in the UK via Sainsbury's but was always the first to be swiped and then they updated their mix which unfortunately didn't include it. I never thought in a million years I would find one in the city of Busan in South Korea but there was a Toys R Us branch there with a small selection of Majorette.
I will freely admit to being a fan of the real car, probably more to do with its styling rather than the Audi image and its been replicated beautifully here. I will also freely admit to liking the cheaper Hot Wheels equivalent but as the Majorette casting fits into their "Premium Cars" line it does benefit from those added extra touches such as working suspension and opening front doors.
