Unveiled at the 2011 Shangai Motorshow and launched in June 2011 the Q3 is a five-door compact executive crossover designed by Julian Hoenig using the Volkswagen Group A5 (PQ35) platform. The Q3 is aimed a lifestyle/sports automobile above the proposed Audi Q2 mini-crossover. The Q3 shares components, transmissions and engines with amongst other vehicles utilising the PQ35 platform, the Volkswagen Golf, Audi A3 and Škoda Yeti.

The European Q3 is built at a the SEAT factory in Martorell, with further pruction by Changchun (FAW-VW), China: (Škoda Auto Volkswagen India) at Pune, India: and by Volkswagen Brazil, in Curitiba, Brazil
The first generation Q3 was replaced by a second generation unveiled July 2018 for the 2019 model year, with European production shifting to Gyor in Hungary

After a long periode with beeing creatively challenged, I had the Audi Q3 on loan for a road test and had to take some pictures.
Roads were wet, salty and the car got dirty within 10 feet of driving from the car wash.
The sky was overcast and the light was as flat as my motivation.
Then it all came together and this is one of the finished images from the shoot.

All exclusive cars I've seen in Budapest were from Slovakia. Also this Bentley. He was matte black and had terrible white tail lights. Not my best nightshot by the way.
