WWII circa 1942 - a German Light Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle in the Polish countryside (photo by my fraternal grandfather)
This peculiar contraption, titled Menindee ATV, was originally exhibited in a local ‘Waste to Art’ competition several years ago. As is evident, it consists of a wheelbarrow equiped with a motorcycle front wheel, hand operated drum brake, coil suspension, headlights, a water bag and two-way radio—oh, and oarlocks for use in crossing the odd flooded creek. On one level it is a reference to some of the odd conveyances found around the district. A few years back, for example, two people were reported to have moved all of their worldly possessions the 200 kilometres from Wilcannia to Broken Hill in a couple of shopping carts. The work is also a nod to the fact that in the 19th century it was common for workers and would-be miners to use wheelbarrows as the preferred means of transporting their gear to the goldfields and outback pastoral leases.

Joshua is dreaming of driving the ATV we used to get to the remote part of Aruba. This was part of a 4 hour tour which actually took us all over the island and unfortunately for Joshua he spent most of it riding behind me. In the background is one of the natural bridges on the eastern coast of Aruba.

Made for The Final Countdown group on MOCpages.
Had this little thing built for a month and never photographed it. It's made mostly from small pieces using minifigure parts.

The Oshkosh M-ATV is an MRAP vehicle sporting an O-GPK turret with a .50 HMG, a V-shaped hull, and significant armored protection. Despite its weight and size, the MATV manages better offroad capability than its counter-parts and even some lighter armored vehicles due to it's ground clearance and suspension.
Once again, special thanks to Evan Melick for doing all the grunt work and allowing me to work off of his base design.
Comments and constructive criticisms are always welcome, and thanks for visiting.

This is a montage of an ATV jumpin about 40 feet high. Rider is Christian Gagnon from Quebec, Canada.
Backdropped by Earth's horizon and the blackness of space, European Space Agency's (ESA) "Johannes Kepler" Automated Transfer Vehicle-2 (ATV-2) begins its relative separation from the International Space Station. The ATV-2 undocked from the aft port of the Zvezda Service Module at 10:46 a.m. (EDT) on June 20, 2011.

Today's story and sketch "by me" we are at the just opened theme park area
at Wonder World named the "ATV" Experience Park, ATV "Alien Transportation Vehicles,
Which is attracting Aliens from all around the Galaxy who want to truly experience
Earths many types of Terrestrial Transportation. For the Aliens all of our modes of
transport seem incredibly crude but also are so much fun, and after this first week of operation the news about the "ATV" Park spread on the "GAB" Galaxy Aliens Babbler,
the interstellar communication network, (Think of it like our Facebook pages),
with the same Utter Mindless, Chit Chat, but very popular with the galaxies youth.
And as the chatter spread, the Park has Sold advanced park ticket sales up to
September 2027. There is already a ticket reseller site on GAB, it's "WWTS"
wonderworldticketscalper@GAB.net.
You see in today's sketch Veeder Burntbeer from the Planet Felopan, riding
a four wheeler, and he or she looks to be having a wonderful time riding along the
beach just in front of Meechum Shematti a WW employee driving a Marscat Skid Loader cleaning up what look like water balloons, that are not contaminates left by the herd of Whringdang Wiggly Water Walrus, who had been up on the beach sunning themselves.
They are wonderful creatures Knobby Gofish found on the Whringdang Moon, who
are a supernatural creature that can consume any type of trash, or discarded food containers,
or any trash or contaminate found on the shoreline or in the ATV lake, and they expel what are pure H2o balloons, that dissolve when dropped back into the Lake you see
in the background. They keep the lake and the entire Park Sparkling Clean
but their Digestive Enzymes are a story for another time, so until then taa
