Our Daily Challenge, Individual
My first contribution to the Our Daily Challenge group (which I joined today - hi folks!)
The house at the top. It is a beauty and I doubt that any offers would be accepted!!
Better viewed large.
Thank you for your favourites. :O)
واضح إن إنسان ثاني
في الهوى خذ موقعي
رغم إني كنت حلمك
كنت كل فرحك وهمك
بس عيبك يا حبيبي

Location: At The Top (burj khalifa)
A hotel at the top of town. No idea what it's like but it had loads of windows, which is what I wanted.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourite.
View from the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa in Dubai on Dubai Mall and Downtown Burj Dubai.
The photo was taken with an 8mm fisheye lens, and then stretched in Adobe Lightroom.
"at the top" is the attraction name for the observation deck placed on the 124th floor of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.
From there the views are breathtaking, this is a segment from Sheikh Zayed Road, a hub in Dubai.
The buildings look pretty tall when you're on the ground, from up here not so tall! hehe.
Not a perfect image, but it's late and I'm tired.
I'm back in London in a couple of days so will finally be able to see everyones images and comment!

A view on the SW from Burj Kahlifa's 125th floor.
Behind the Burj al Arab is the The Palm Jumeirah.
On the mainland is the Jumeirah- and Marina high rise.
The mosque was constructed from 1996 to 2007. It is the largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates and the eighth largest mosque in the world. The building complex measures approximately 290 m (960 ft) by 420 m (1,380 ft), covering an area of more than 12 hectares (30 acres).
In reflection of the diversity of the Islamic world and the United Arab Emirates, the collection comprises material in a broad range of languages, including Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Korean.
Natural materials were chosen for much of its design and construction due to their long-lasting qualities, including marble stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics.

And all the things that you never ever told me
And all the smiles that are ever gonna hold me

On a beautiful visit to Rye and Rye Harbour, spotted these two large 'hills' of pebbles and decided to compose without any of the ground showing. A series of eight pictures.
View from the Burj Al Khalifa in Dubai. The tallest building in the world (828 metres). Looking down from the 124th floor.
It's easier to go down a hill than up it but the view is much better at the top.
