Fos sur Mer .
Les usines sont plus éloignées que ce qu'il paraît.
Néanmoins comme Châteauneuf les Martigues , Martigues et tout le bassin de l'Etang de Berre une grande et vaste pollution existe.

Bull moose do not make this size/maturity without a healthy fear of humans pointing things at them! As this trophy grazed in an opening between forest boundaries, I was able to have about a three second photo shoot with him before he trotted off and disappeared into the woods behind him.
The amazing part is that with his antlers still growing and in full velvet…easily five+ feet across…he disappeared in the heavy vegetation like a 1600-pound ninja.

heading out, nearing the top of my driveway to head on off the property for a ride. The trees along my driveway had the best color I've seen in at least a couple years. Best of views in my opinion.
After my ride, it started raining here and rained like crazy. It was great.

Today we honor the mothers in our lives, who have one of the most important jobs in the world and also one of the most difficult at times. A job that brings great joy to mothers and awakens a love like they have never experienced until giving birth.
A mother will do anything to protect her children, even if it means walking through fire, jumping into a turbulent ocean or river to save their child from drowning, fighting off someone attacking her child. Whatever it is, she will lay down her life to save that of her child.
I know I would. Even though both my daughters are well into their 40s now, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I would give my life for either of them if I had to for any reason.
So Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Enjoy your day to the max. You all deserve it.
This photo is a repost from many years ago but it has always been one of my favorite Mama grizz and cub photos. The quality isn't the best but it's the feeling it gives me when I look at it that is important to me. It is like the mama is imparting something very important to her cub and wants him/her to pay close attention and the cub appears to be listening intently.
It was close to 10 PM when I took this shot.

I just like this old barn. The more beat up and rustic it gets the more of it's character I enjoy.
It has not escaped my attention that half of this year’s pictures have been buildings . I guess admitting I have a problem is the first step.

LOL Or perhaps he is going to conduct the chorus? We came upon a flock (well I did anyway, because for once Anita sat in the car while I got out and walked a short path along the river!!) of Graylag geese enjoying bath time in the frigid waters of the Shenandoah River. Even now when I think about it, I get the shivers! There was ice all along the edges of the river and yet they appeared to be just as happy as if it were 90 + degrees out.
Attention to detail.

When I venture to the countryside, I see Cows more often than Sheeps. Be careful, I really like Cows but when I see Sheeps which are a rarity where I live, I’m disproportionately happy. So, when there are Lambs that have just been born, I literally melt ❤️ A big Thank You to Chris Firth 😊
