A beautiful morning in the Derbyshire peak district with great friend Jon Sargisson this morning, although it seemed we were never quite in the right place at the right time, we did manage to capture some wonderful moody shots at Chatsworth, the mist never let us see the majestic house but it did provide the atmosphere y the river Derwent

Happy Nice Wonderful Cloud Tuesday!
I made this edit based on a recommendation. I am really like how it turned out, what do you think would be a good title. Thanks for the suggestion frugalphotographer

The harvest around our area is about complete already, and so it’s time to grab some straw bale shots😁.
I was woken early the other morning by the wife, who mentioned that there was some mist and colour in the sky (you’ve got to love her😁); and so I popped out to grab some quick shots. Although this spot is only a couple of minutes from where I live, the sky colours were already dissipating. However, as the sun came above the hill I was able to get some shots of the backlit bales.
The sun is a little too bright in this shot having fully crested the hill, but it’s the wife’s favourite from the set.
These past few days, my emotional state has been going from happy to anxious to thrilled and back to worried (when you raise children, all that comes with the territory...) so none of my usual and otherwise "normal" pics seemed to satisfy me enough to post in my condition. And then I stumble upon this hit-or-miss atmospheric experimentation on editing I did a couple of weeks ago and somehow it clicked! Hopefully, you'll like it half as much as I do. If not, then... hit-or-miss, remember? :D
Be well, all my friends :)))
The heavy atmosphere blends the sky with the river boundlessly.
