Now and then able to add a tale in the picture and this one , specially at the end of making it , reminded me of the X-files....i hope you can see why. :)

Originally built in 1889 and burned in 1901, this is the second building built in 1913. The Byron Hot Springs Hotel was once a thriving resort attracting movies stars and famous atheletes.
In 1938 due to legal troubles the resort was closed and leased to the military in 1941 when it was renamed "Camp Tracy" and became one of 2 top secret interrogation camps for Japanese and Nazi Prisoners of War. Camp Tracy was dimantled in 1945.
There are currently plans to restore the resort to it's original condition.

Excerpt from www.planmyjapan.com/glico-running-man-dotonbori-osaka/:
The most iconic of the Dotonburi attractions, the Glico Man in Osaka has been ‘running’ since 1935 (at least give him a breather) and is a ‘shining light’ (literally) in the Shinabashi community attracting millions of tourists every year.
Japan’s most famous sign and brilliant billboard, the Glico Man is a lit-up advertisement found in Dotonbori Osaka depicting a male athelete winning a race with his arms aloft as a sign of victory
First put up in the 1930s, the Glico Man is an iconic advert for a Japanese confectionery company that has been seen by millions of people from all over the world.
The original ‘running man’, the very first Glico Man billboard was put up in 1935 to promote Glico, a food and snacks company that was founded in 1922 in Osaka.
Rumour has it that the running man motif was chosen by Glico as their ad, as one of their original candy products was thought to boost energy levels (it may or may not have had oyster juice in it) so it would be suitable for an athlete or runner to help them power through.
The early Glico candies were heart-shaped and originally packaged in boxes with a runner with raised arms with a slogan ‘300 Meters in a Single Piece” (in the sense one chocolate would provide an energy boost for upto 300 metres of running).
Whilst many marvel and glare at the Glico Man every night, many don’t know that there have been six or seven different signs over the last few decades, each being replaced with newer and ‘better looking’ versions (and by that, we might brighter and more energy efficient).
The current Glico Man is the first LED version which comprises almost 150,000 LED lights – previous generations of Glico Man have been made from neon gas tubes.
There's a plus side to all the training we had to do back in our legion Warband, we're perfectly suited for the NFL! Horns and claws aside that is. So what's a better way to get ready for Super Bbowl LV than a little football of our own? Wanna play?
(( Now before you ask, Krull is a die hard Seahawks fan true and true, but as his beloved team isn't in the bowl this year he's rocking the Bucc's colors. Also, it has been a while since I've posted something, hopefully that is going to change here very soon. ))

This week I have this tribute to our great Olympic atheletes.
They are like jewels of Canada. Same as the dew drops I saw in the morning on these little buds. They are beautiful jewels.
Go Canada Go! Hooray to the great atheletes!

Nikon/Sony sensors are nothing short of amazing. In order to expose for the sun, I had to underexpose the entire photo by a good three to four stops. When I imported the image into Lightroom, it was pretty much black with a small dot of light where the sun is. I increased the exposure as well as some shadows, and pulled back highlights to get an HDR effect so-to-speak. I hope I didn't overdo it.
Gone are the days where you need three or five photos with different exposures to get all the details. In some instances it may still be the better choice, but if you don't have a tripod and you've got moving subjects in the frame, nothing beats being able to get it done with a single exposure. Thanks, Nikon!
