Sketch of how I use to get many of my Atari 2600 games as a kid The step dad got chips from work (a large defense contractor) and would bring the chip home to be inserted into a homemade (by him or someone at work) cartridge board. Once the chip was in the slot, the latch would be flipped up to hold it in place, the cartridge would be inserted into the console and boom, fun times.
When I finally got around to cataloging my Atari 2600 cartridges, I stacked them all up. The resulting pile was 5 carts across by 3 carts deep by 18 carts tall. The collection continues to grow.
Making the pretty pretty out of old Atari 2600 games. Built in Max/MSP/Jitter using v001 and jit.atari2600.
The third set of shelves added to the Room of Doom. This one is exclusively for the Atari 2600. I couldn't even fit it all in this shelf, either...
