Atari was bred on the (in)famous King Farm Thoroughbred production line, used/exploited for a couple of years on the track, dismissed to a variety of "owners," ending up at the Valley Forge Military Academy in PA. There, he paraded, competed in eventing, and was beaten up badly in polo.
After his "service" to the "Academy," he was set to be auctioned off for slaughter (Europeans and Asians still eat quite a bit of horse meat) when the Ranger Foundation stepped in and adopted him. He now resides at the Ranger Foundation, on Greenbriar farm, near Sharpsburg, Maryland, where for the first time in his life (he's 34 rising), he can be a horse: roaming the huge pastures, playing with his herd mates, and doing what he damn well pleases. Long live Atari!

I wonder how much this would be worth and I kept it. I got rid of it along time ago when I still knew, and before there was a Nintendo game boy.
