I'm playing Atari - Donkey Kong to be exact - with my childhood best friend Timmy Whitehead. This was one of the last times I saw Timmy before he moved away.

Well I received an Atari 2600 for Christmas, so I'm going to try and make it out of Legos, and I decided to start with the controller. I think it turned out really well.

Figured I'd use this old photo of me to try and kick start another round of AFOL tag.
Since I've tried to tag newer AFOLs, and other folks I didn't see on AFOL Tag, I'll explain how it works. If you've been tagged, then you're next. Post a photo of yourself, along with ten facts about yourself that folks might not know about you. Then "Tag" ten friends by adding them to your photo. Last, add your photo to the AFOL Tag group. You can browse the AFOL tag group to learn more about your fellow AFOLs who've already been tagged.
So, here are ten more facts about myself
1. This photo was taken in 1982, between Second and Third Grade for me. My father worked for CBS, and that came with certain benefits for an eight year old kid. This was when the Dukes of Hazzard was at it's peak. My dad managed to wrangle getting a General Lee for a local car show, and took me out a few days before the show, to see it's arrival. Yes, this is one of the cars from the show. I got to ride around in it with one of the stunt drivers. Sadly we didn't go over any jumps, conveniently placed near construction sites, but he did peel out in the parking lot. He also let me climb in through the window, even though the doors weren't actually bolted shut.
2. In high school I had four girlfriends, one each semester starting my Junior year. Despite that, I only went to one dance, the Junior Ball.
3. My love of video games precedes the Atari-2600. My family's first video game system was a radio shack TV-Pong game with four slider controllers and a single light gun.
4. The most famous person I've met, outside of conventions like PAX and Dragon Con, would be Mel Torme. He's actually a really nice guy to strangers.
5. The most esoteric celebrity I've met would be Jim Self. Mr. Self is probably the world's most famous Tuba Player. He was the voice of the Mother Ship in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"
6. The celebrity I am happiest to have met is Steve Smith, better known as Red Green.
7. I was born in West Virginia, where I lived until 1985, when the family moved to Fairbanks Alaska, where I grew up.
8. The first LEGO set I ever owned was Universal Building Set #402.
9. I was once Bartolo in a production of the Opera "The Marriage of Figaro" by Mozart.
10. Despite my love of Superhero films, and my special affinity for Batman, I have red very few comic books.
