One of my hobbies is collecting retro-computers, focusing on computers made by Atari. I have currently have eleven different Atari-models, three from Commodore and one other model in my collection.
This is one of my Atari Portfolios, which I acquired in 2010. Well used by it's previous owner, but still works as it should. Have got an parallel-interface, extra memory and some other accessories for it now.
Well I received an Atari 2600 for Christmas, so I'm going to try and make it out of Legos, and I decided to start with the controller. I think it turned out really well.

Time to upgrade to Windows ME, but I really think I should add some RAM first. Notice the Walkman - the "iPod of the 80's" - on the desk.
You can keep your Playstation or X-Box. The only real video game is Atari, as these two young kids are enjoying! This shot is for week 23 of 52.5. The theme is TOY, GAME, OR CHILDHOOD PASTIME.

The Atari 800 was one of the first home computers to be released, after the TRS-80 Model 1, Commodore Pet and Apple ][. I still love the case design - looks futuristic in its own right. It had a real keyboard, unlike the 400, twin cartridge slots and four joystick controllers. I remember desperately wanting one.

10-Jahre Verein zum Erhalt klassischer Computer e.V. Am 21. und 22. September in Berlin veranstaltete dieser Verein die Ausstellung Classic Computing 2013. Veranstaltungsort war das Fachgebiet Medienwissenschaft der Humboldt-Universität des Pergamon-Palais mit einer Gesamtfläche von über 500 Quadratmetern.
