This was done as part of a project with two other photographers, where one of them picked a location and we all went at diff times to get 3 diff points of view - these 10 were my submissions.

Indoor shot with fluorescent lighting.

Subject is a memorex CD placed on black surface.

I had to shoot at diff angles to manipulate the reflection.

This could be used for a music poster or layout, or an ad against illegally downloaded music.

Thanks to @gabinemet, I was invited to the photo challenge #sooc_challenge (straight out of camera). This is my first of three pics: no filters, no cropping, and no edits! Now, I’m supposed to ask three others to participate (only if you want to), so I nominate @throughthemobilelens, @alma.klenanc, and @babak.gharaei ... 1 pic a day, each day, for 3 days, with 3 invites per day. 3 pics, 3 days, 3 invites. Said is the guy on the right in white. He was our host and moderator for the screenings. He's a super sweet guy, an engineer by training, but he loves film and has made 6 shorts on his own! He saves time off from work every year so that he can work at DIFF. The guy on the left is Said's friend, forget his name, but another film geek.
