Super-stealthy nighttime shot of Peter overindulging in the one thing that's very, very bad for him: cats. But they were so cute. And they would all line up on the wall of the house next to our hotel, and purr and purr. Peter would wind up with a terrible asthmatic cat hangover, but a goofy smile on his face.

The Aim of the trip was to raise funds for te RSPB, the WWT and Asthma UK, being asthmatic myself. I also wanted [still do!] to raise climate change awareness issues.

The Stinging Nettle grows commonly in the wild, the generic name Urtica comes from the Latin urere, meaning 'to burn',. In fact, it has an ancient history as a useful herb. Medicinally, the stinging nettle was valued for its astringent,, tonic, anti-asthmatic and diuretic properties, in the treatment of rheumatism, kidnes stones, nosebleeds and mouth ulcers, Nettle-leaf tea was a traditional tonic treatment for dull hair and dandruff. High in vitamins A and C and minerals, particuarly iron,...

After crossing the creek, the torture began. The hiking guide said there would be "several" switch backs over the next mile climbing to the lake. I don't know what your definition of "several" is, but 17 is more than I would claim! The elevation gain was over 1000 feet at this point and by the top I was pretty well gasping for air! (Doesn't help that I'm a severe asthmatic...) Once at the top (10,840 feet) I was pretty proud of myself and the lake there was a beautiful reward.

Summit Shah It has long been known that allergies and asthma tend to run in families. Consequently, many prevention efforts have been targeted to the children of allergic or asthmatic parents. Although allergies and asthma cannot be uniformly prevented, Summit Shah suggests that there are steps a family with a history of the allergic disease can take to delay or reduce the occurrence of allergies in their infants. When it comes to allergy treatment, we're proud to be the best. Summit Shah of Premier Allergy is ready to help you better enjoy the great outdoors. It was a rain-scented walk. It had poured at the end of a blazing day, and besides the frogs and crickets, all that I could hear was Ilayaraja’s wheezy breath. ‘I was always asthmatic,’ he said, this too with his ready smile. Although a migrant – his family moved here from Salem when he was a baby – he knew Sivaganga well; he knew every bump and curve in the road, the motor-bikes, and the men who drove them.
