One of those days when I didn't have either time or inspiration - into my 3rd Month and it's getting hard to be original and artistic. The realisation that I'm looking at Summer, Autumn and another Winter of 365 into 2010, when Spring is only just with us, left me feeling rather down ;-(
I'm going to have to get further afield more often to keep the momentum going. And if any of my viewers have requests for a particular shot, sight or landmark, please do make suggestions. I will do my best - and it is the comments and feedback that I'm getting which keep me going.
So, some new signs for tourists down in the valley. Nice and shiny, very clear - but I do wonder if they followed an asthmatic ant pushing a wheelbarrow for the timings!

Community Service Hero, Individual: Technical Sergeant Stephanie Zamudio
Technical Sergeant Stephanie Zamudio was on active
duty at Travis Air Force Base (AFB) as a KC-10
Aerospace Maintainer Instructor. Away from work, she
was an active volunteer with Solano County Search and Rescue. She became certified in Youth Protection and in turn trained nine cadets in First Aid and CPR so they will be ready for future emergencies. She was involved in four separate successful Search and Rescue operations in which the lost were found. As a first responder at the Urban Shield Obstacle Course, she provided lifesaving medical skills to an asthmatic participant in need of urgent help. Although Stephanie has been transferred to the AFB in San Antonio, we thank her for her devotion to the cause of Search and Rescue and honor her today.

the heavily asthmatic lead character of the Star Wars movies. This is in fact the drill pattern of a printed circuit board that I'm waiting for.
Maybe I should give it the code name 'Lord Helmet' ;-)

this is a first for me. Tonight while I was taking my breathing treatment I decided to snap a shot for the life stories class I'm in right now.
Asthma has been a big part of my life for 19 years and I guess it deserves to be documented for the first time.
