This is why i really need to rescue my legos from storage. This three foot titan of a mech has been sitting ~70% done for 6 or seven years now (astetically maybe 85% but functionally maybe only 50% as i still have to redesign his entire skeleton to support his massive weight
This photo is a double exposure secondary source photograph of light movement from potentially car lights. I like this photo because it is astetically pleasing and looks intricate and complicated.It suggests to me how in this modern world so much movement occurs where before it would not. Cars speed up as does the quickly moving advancment of technology.
I've been wanting to compile this checklist for a while, and finally, I have.
24 new dolls, including the playsets & multi-packs, are set to hit shelves in the new season. My wallet is already crying, but I'm excited myself. Mostly for the locker dolls & all the Ghoulias. The DT dolls have really grown on me since they were first announced and I'm even loking forward to the fashion pack too!
This was organized by group & likely release order. We've already seen SDCC Ghoulia and Abbey & Spectra made thier doll debut today via the official Facebook page, while Clawd & Laura was an early leak. After the 2-pack & school's out dolls, I expect to see the sleepover dolls, then the other school related dolls, the 3 pack & the second DotD wave.
I just sort've stuck Ghoulia & the fashion pack up at the top because I wasn't sure where else to put them and because they looked better there astetically.
As things pop up & I acquire them, I'll check off this list and add dates.

A view of a lay light panel from above. The original support bars lie close to the panel. Additional support bars added at a later time sit higher above the panel, presumeably for astetic purposes so as to not be as obviously seen from below through the glass.
Shooting on a 100 year old camera, and using some Ilford 35mm and making it fit the giant film plane. Film is a few years out of date and I develop in my bathtub, Scan into computer and stitch and adjust curves in photoshop, little bit of color added to help the astetics.

2. Eurocentrism is something that is inherantly in our culture and in my opinion cannot 100% be eraticated from our society. However I like the above quote because it places a different light on eurocentrism. Its important when critiqueing it that you realized and somewhat appreciate it's place.
3. The most prevalant example in my everyday life of eurocentrism is the desire that African Americans have towards the european astetic. "Fair skin" or lighter complected black people are often seen as more beautiful that darker blacks. This picture is a blend of a blonde hair blue eyed white woman and a black woman with a darker complection.
I am a freelancer and I absolutely hate working for others. I can never please them or tell if they are truly satisfied or happy with the work that I present to them.
Which is why I truly love this 365 Challenge. I have no one to please but my god damn self. The effort that I put into it, is what I am going to get out of it.
Side note: I just got confirmation that I am leaving everything for a while and heading to Africa this Summer to make a difference.

What I had in mind for the following was the woman "throwing on her boots and her husbands shirt to go grab the newspaper and just sitting on the front porch to look at the paper and have her Esspresso". The problem is that our front porch is not as Astetically pleasing as I'd like. I think it would also look better with darker walls. Anyway, it's a possibility for a different shoot, with a different porch setting.
Beautiful heads for tools made of stone. I'd much prefer metal ones if I had to use them though for astetic purposes these are much better looking than rusty steel.
Sometimes too much development is an eyesore, it does pain me everytime I return to Kuantan to see the beautiful Bukit Pelindung giving way to new housing, the green replaced by urban homes of the rich without regard of astetics and nature, one day the entire hill may just be gone, turned into a condo sprawl or bungalow row, Bukit Pelindung, Kuantan, Malaysia, 2005.
