Assignment 2: make a font out of perfect circles and squares
I think this has a edgy, futuristic feel to it. Other than that... I don't know :))
Found lots of lovely old rusty machinery on a local farm, could have spent hours there!
Have no idea which one to choose for the assignment, tho this one is maybe my favorite.

Taken for the Active Assignment Weekly! group. This week's assignment: Flash!
What it took: Used in-camera flash. Set up my portable turntable and opted to use the my vinyl of Brand New's "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" which is on white vinyl. I figured it'd really enhance the shot. In PSElements, added a slight vignette and bumped up the contrast slightly. Added a Square crop, which I felt mirrored the typical square packaging of the vinyl albums.

ake a passage from a book that has been important to you, and shoot it. However you want. If you want to do something literally, go for it. If you want to imply the passage, that’s cool too.
I went with a passage from the book In an Image by Dara Horn
"When he looked at things, he didn't see them as other people do. Most people register what they see, however unconsciously, as part of a continuum of time and space, each plane and moment melting to the next like sand castles dissolving underwater. But when he looked around, he saw the world separated into frames, as if his eye were a camera and he were cropping out rectangles of the world, by blinking an eye and trapping a moment on the film of his retina. And it showed in the way he glanced at things."
GAF Photography 2008: Assignment Thread 41: Disturbing. I don't really have a fear of heights per se, but I am always a bit unsettled by them. Some might say even disturbed. Shot from the top of a parking garage zooming during the exposure to create a sense of vertigo.
