For this particular assignment I had to get help from a friend who is a professional photographer for a local magazine. With him, I was able to capture some of these great images in the different lighting effects (front, side, back (2), overhead and bottom) The quality of the image was compromised due to the way he had to send it to me (WhatsApp)

To you it is simply a picture of a blonde girl; to me it is a picture of the past, full of life and love and all things beautiful in this world.
It is also a picture of painful remembrance, of a future cut short before its time.
To spare a long-winded speech, replace her with your most cherished love, and now imagine life without.
I superimposed the golf ball in place of one of the apples. I omitted the stems from all the apples and the seed from the apple in front.

The Calvert Photography Club photo assignment for 03/16/2019 was "Light". We could only submit two pictures for judging. These were my attempts from which two were submitted. The subject matter consisted of a strong LED light array source, a very small glass cube(frosted on two faces), a plastic diffraction grating sheet, sometimes a plastic fresnel lens sheet, and on the bottom a sheet of very white high gloss ink jet printing paper.

My office desk starting work and having all my office supplies on my desk ready to use I have put them in order, and will use them through my day at work at my desk..
This is a silhouette of a Joshua Tree in the Mojave National Preserve. The light was a little harsh, but the interesting sky made for a nice backdrop. I took the shot with a fairly wide angle lens, low down and close to the tree so I could capture the clouds.
I am very new to editing and consider myself a novice. I decided to re-furbish my first archive photo! The edits i made to this photo are, cropping and color balance to take out the blue-ish tint. I used the cropping tool and color balance adjustment tool. I used Pixlr as my photo editor. I feel these edits make the flower more distinct and vibrant, changing the mood to happy showing real color of the flower. The crop brings in the focus to the flower and taking out the blue tints changes the mood.
I found this on me while I was out taking pictures. This is the American Dog Tick (also known as Wood Tick), Dermacentor variabilis.
The good news: These guys do not transmit Lyme disease.
The bad news: They can transmit Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
