My rendition of the Halo 3 Assault Rifle.

From Halo Nation:

"The MA5C Assault rifle is an air-cooled, gas-operated, magazine fed weapon designed for automatic fire. The MA5C is the third rifle in the MA5 Series and has been in service for more than 50 years. The MA5C has an attached electronics suite that provides information on rounds remaining in the magazine, compass heading, as well as several other "housekeeping" functions. The rifle performs well in a variety of environments especially given the perceived delicacy of the attached electronics suite."

Features:

~Spring-loaded charging handle

~Removable magazine

~Removable "electronics suite"

Built without glue

Well my friend Drummy finishes his 365 today, and I wanted to bust out the SKS for a while, so it seemed like the perfect combination.

check it out here

The Spartan Armory Spitfire is multipurposed medium-machine gun that fire 7.62x51mm NATO round, it can use magazine and ammo box. Also the barrel is changeable that mean you can use the longer barrel for long combat situation and the shorty barrel is for CQC. But there's a cons, the rate of fire is very high that make this machine gun is unstable and low of accuracy, but we provide a custom bipod for improving the accuracy while you shooting.

The price it self is around $8000

Pictured is The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

She is presenting new Colours to the Regiment at Windsor.

This is the eighth set of Colours that have been presented to the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in their 100 year history.

Colours are the Regimental Flags of the British Army. They were originally used as rallying points on the battlefield as long ago as the Kings of Babylon.

They were vital because before modern communications, it was all too easy for troops to become disorientated by the fog of war.

From the reign of Queen Anne every regiment has been awarded two colours: the Queen’s Colour and the Regimental Colour. In the Guards Regiments the Queen’s Colour is crimson silk and the Regimental Colour is the Union Flag.

Regardless of being butcher by civil profession, this sergeant was a nice guy and aimed at my camera only because I insisted. Gun was empty, of course.

This is film, Kodak Tri-X-Pan 400, and still veeeery noisy after slight grain reduction. Camera was Yashica Electro X ITS, 50 mm F1.7.

There is a famous news picture of a soldier standing on a bed of a truck, aiming at the camera, surrounded by a puff of smoke. Picture is titled "The moment I died", referring to the photographer, who was killed by the bullet. I saw the image in a book some 30 years ago, but do not remember who the photo-journalist was, nor have I ever found the image or the story in the net.

Soldiers of the Pathfinders and Groupement des Commandos Parachutiste (GCP), the advance forces of 16 Air Assault Brigade and 11e Brigade Parachutiste pictured taking part in Exercise Falcon Amarante.

British and French paratroopers are showing their readiness to deploy together on joint operations.

Across two demanding weeks in November, south west France saw Exercise Falcon Amarante testing the Airborne Combined Joint Expeditionary Force (A-CJEF) – a partnership between 16 Air Assault Brigade and 11e Brigade Parachutiste.

The two brigades provide the airborne rapid reaction forces for their respective armies, and the A-CJEF has been trained and ready since 2013 to deploy on short-notice operations ranging from war fighting to disaster relief.

Exercise Falcon Amarante is the A-CJEF’s annual test exercise, taking place in 2018 under 11e BP’s command. Some 650 British troops and 170 vehicles of the 3 PARA Battlegroup - built around the airborne infantry of 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment bolstered by artillery, engineers, medics, signallers and logisticians took part.

British troops were paired with the 3e Regiment de Parachutistes d’Infanterie de Marine as the A-CJEF, with US paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne Brigade working alongside it.

After mission planning and reconnaissance, the exercises started in earnest with some 600 British, French and US paratroopers jumping onto the Caylus training area near Toulouse. From there, a series of simulated missions tested the skills and capabilities of the 2,000-strong force.

Operation TEMPERER – the mobilisation plan for military support to the police service in response to a major terrorist attack.

It is an established security plan by the Government which aims to help protect civilians at times of high terror threat when the official national threat level is raised to critical...Military personnel are deployed alongside the police at nominated sites to provide additional protective security. . .They backfilled existing armed guarding roles filled by armed police units, thereby releasing armed police officers to support the wider incident response...During this deployment, soldiers were working under police command and replaced or supplemented armed police officers to guard major sites such as rail stations, Parliament, embassies and Buckingham Palace.

My own custom Halo 3 UNSC Marines, using new olive green Brickforge Shock Trooper armor and helmets. Helmets have the visor drilled out. Why the drilled out Shock Trooper helmets? Because Marines wear what's basically an ODST helmet without a visor or chin, and I hate modded Powered Assault Helmets used as Marine helmets.

Pictured are troops wearing the new Virtus body armour and load carrying system in a mock foot patrol scenario .

The new Virtus system uses the latest materials and offers the same protection as Osprey body armour but is significantly lighter, moves with the body more easily and produces a slimmer profile. The amount of protection employed can be scaled up or down to match the type of threat by adding or removing soft armour pads and hard ballistic plates. It is compatible with both Osprey and Enhanced Combat Body Armour.

A new, lighter helmet will provide increased blunt impact protection, face and mandible guards for certain roles and a shape that is designed to work with the armour and daysack so weapons can be comfortably used even in a prone position.

One of the most radical innovations is an integral 'spine' - the 'dynamic weight distribution' system. The device is linked to the user’s waist belt and helps spread the load of the body armour, a Bergen or daysack across the back, shoulders and hips.

The system also employs a new quick-release mechanism – a pin positioned on the chest that when pulled releases the entire body kit.

Virtus Scalable Tactical Vest (STV)

The Scalable Tactical Vest (STV) can be used for load carriage without any armour; as a fragmentation vest with soft armour padding consisting of a composite granular material but no hard plates; as a plate carrier with no soft armour; or as a full body armour system with soft and hard armour. It is compatible with both Osprey and Enhanced Combat Body Armour.

Any combination of front, rear or side plates can be employed.

The STV comes in seven different sizes for a tailored fit. Chest size and torso length instead of height are now used for measuring. Modified lower profile soft armour further reduces the bulk when compared with Osprey, allowing for more agility.

The quick-release pin allows the STV to be removed in a couple of seconds with one pull. This applies when it is used in any of its configurations.

A lightweight webbing system is designed to be worn under and integrated with the body armour.

Both the daysack and Bergen are fully integrated with the rest of the torso sub-system. This ensures that they are carried close to the body preventing excessive movement of the load but without pushing the rear ballistic plate into the body. Both can be used in conjunction with the dynamic weight distribution system.

Pouches are made from one piece of fabric and fold flat when empty, minimising profile and the possibility of snagging.

The dynamic weight distribution system contains a hard spine that takes the load and is linked to a hip belt. This allows the soldier to transfer the weight of his load from the shoulders to the hips or the other way via an adjuster positioned in the small of the back.

Troops and equipment need to be sized correctly for the DWD to be effective. It is estimated that personnel will need a day’s worth of training and familiarisation with the kit.

The Virtus helmet has a fixed shroud for the mounting of night vision goggles and a counterweight for neck comfort.

Its fit can be easily adjusted in the same way as modern cycling and climbing helmets.

The sculpted rear prevents interference with body armour or daysack when adopting a prone fire position.

It provides more protection to the side of the head and is 350g lighter than the Mk7 it succeeds.

The helmet can be fitted with both mandible guard and visor, or either, which provide face protection for crews in open vehicles such as Jackal or WMIK.

Pictured are two members of the Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) on patrol at the Army Aviation Centre at Middle Wallop.

The Military Provost Guard Service (MPGS) provides professional soldiers to meet armed security requirements at Royal Navy, Army, RAF and other MOD bases in Great Britain.

Stationed at over 106 sites, the MPGS have their own Military Local Service Contract which allows soldiers to choose where they wish to serve, providing there is a vacancy.

The primary role of the MPGS is to counter the terrorist threat posed to military bases in Great Britain through the provision of armed guarding services.

The MPGS is part of the Provost Branch of the Adjutant General's Corps and is under the direction of Provost Marshal (Army), who is the Director and Head of Service.

MPGS units are formed under the command of their respective Head of Establishment, with Provost Marshal (Army) maintaining technical standards through annual inspections.

The Royal Guard and street liners on-board HMS Bulwark practice their drill before the ship heads to the Orkney Islands to commemorate 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Jutland.

Image shows sailors rehearsing in the Royal Guard...The Battle of Jutland took place between the British Grand Fleet and the German High Seas Fleet on the 31st May 1916 in the North Sea, off the mainland of Denmark.

Although it was the only major naval battle of World War I, it became the largest sea battle in naval warfare history in terms of the numbers of battleships and battlecruisers engaged, bringing together the two most powerful naval forces in existence at that time.
