Met this young fellow on the train from Hsipaw to Mandalay. Since he and his family didn't speak English I can only guess. But judging by the many bags they where carrying with them, it might be they are heading to a big city, leaving the countryside for good.

If so, they are probably going to face a difficult time.

And, while looking at the kid's sorrowful look, I somehow think, he has a presentiment...
