The Aryans were originally from the area near Caspian sea and on reaching India, they had experienced substantial mixture of ethnic diversities and mostly lost their pure Aryan features....but, in a very few hamlets in Ladakh, which are known as Aryan villages, one can still find them (known as Drokpa), who are strictly maintaining their identity and remain in a closely-bound secluded community...here is one little Aryan girl engrossed in watching evening community dance in Darchik, Ladakh Himalayas, India

Aryans came to India with "Alexander The Great" to capture India. After his untimely death many of his soldiers settled in India. The early Aryan race in India had blue & green eyes because most of their ancestors were from Greece, Spain & Italy. Now the new generation has brown or Black eyes.
Claimed to be pure Aryans and descendants of Alexander the Greats army ( Unsubstantiated). A closed community of a few thousand live in the remote villages of Dah,Hanu etc in Ladakh close to Batalik and over 150 km from Leh.. With distinctive features and headgear called Tepi they are simple people. One must be polite and take their permission before photographing.

The Aryan Guard makes its way through downtown Calgary escorted by Calgary Police on a march to City Hall. When the protest ended the AG was escorted on Police Busses away from the scene.

A cluster of remote Himalayan villages claim to hold a bastion of purebred Aryans—the last in the world completely un-muddied by the outside gene pool.
For decades, visitors have been drawn to the Ladakh province of Kashmir in India by the promise of a master race that has remained intact for thousands of years. The Brogpas, or Brokpas, say they are the purest remnants of light-skinned European invaders who, legend has it, traveled through India thousands of years ago.
The tribe’s true origins are impossible to place, though that hasn’t stopped large amounts of speculation. One popular legend claims the community is the remainder of Alexander the Great’s army.
Unlike the majority of the Ladakhis with Tibeto-Mongol looks, the Brogpas have Indo-Aryan features.
Exploring Aryan villages has been something I have been waiting for years. Finally fulfilled the wish 6 days back as part of my #LadakhWorkshop for #PhotowalkConnect. Can't wait to visit the village yet again next week with fellow photographers from #PhotowalkDubai.
Featured here is the most beautiful Aryan I came across during the shoot - Padma Lamu. She defines beauty in most graceful way.
More images from Aryan Village - soon :)

It's been over a year since I met this kid, and boy has he grown. A lot has changed about him, but a lot hasn't changed—like the fact that he exhausts his poor mother out on a daily basis (I do that too, guilty as charged). The young man is growing fast, and before you know it he'll be asking for the keys to the car. Most parents are interested in documenting childhood because it passes by so quickly, but most children aren't as interested because childhood for them passes by so slowly.

After a long trekking session, we decided to visit the villages of Dha & Hanu, an area only 19 Kilometers from the Pakistani border. It doesn’t take much imagination to visualize the military presence in that area. Dha Hanu is in the Kargil region west of Leh.
This community is believed to be the last race of Aryans, confined to the valley. With their pure Aryan features, these people seemed to have preserved their racial purity down the centuries. I assume they perhaps descend from the army of Alexander of Macedonia.
This is how people dress on a regular basis. The men, women and children are seen decorating their heads with different kinds of flowers. It takes about 2 hours to prepare one head gear.
