This photo was taken years ago, when I was still new to both photography and post processing. Taken with a very basic Kodak point and shoot, it had absolutely no quality to speak of, but I really liked the "bones" of the photo.

Through the years, this one went through a couple of edits. I don't think I even have the original anymore, except possibly on CD. I finally had some different tools and skills to apply to it, and I like the result a lot better! Yes, it's artsy, and that's what I really like about it. I've found that some of the shots with the least quality as a photo make the best images for art! The mood was there, and the lines, but the rest took a little imagination and work to accentuate. This was taken on March 12, 2007.

My good... I've heard and read a lot about this 'magic' lens from Carl Zeiss: the 1.4/85mm Planar. A MUST DO to test it??

And what should I say...?? I'm totally astonished and enthusiastic: look at this colours (taken during rain outside!) and optical sensation: sharp and crisp, with this famous 3D effect (yes.. this is really true).

BUT: what the hell about the Bokeh?? This is really awsome: look at this 'creamy' and regular background. awsome!

Can't await to test this magic lens with Portraits (this is what this lens has been made for..)
