The ArtScience Museum is shaped like the lotus flower.
The floating wishing spheres are filled with wishes penned by people with a heartfelt hope for a brighter future for the countdown 2016 celebration at Marina Bay Singapore

Marina Bay Sands Hotel and ArtScience Museum
The [Singapore] Marina Bay Sands complex has over 2,500 hotel rooms in three sloped towers, a one-hectare, 340m long Sands Skypark, the longest cantilevered public observation deck in the world, and the distinctive ArtScience Museum, built to resemble an open lotus flower.
The three iconic structures in Singapore lit in red. Helix Bridge, Marina Bay Sands hotel and Artscience Museum.
This is a morning, sunrise capture showing Singapore's business and financial distict framed by the underside of the ArtScience Museum on the right and palm trees on the left. The foreground shows the lily pond reflecting pool.
