A tour boat shows its clients the wonder of Greenland sailors off St. John's, NL, Canada.

Often compared to San Francisco due to the hilly terrain and steep maze of residential streets, housing in St. John's, Newfoundland is typically painted in bright colours.

Stay hopeful and be safe.

Capilano River Regional Park, North Vancouver

Colourful fallen leaves and raindrops in a shallow pond seen while walking in our neighbourhood.

Enjoy your day and stay safe

Even in the rain and fog there are little treasures here and there.

The movement of wind and waves over mossy rocks, the reflections of blue sky and the red Lonsdale Quay Observation Tower create this colourful, natural "abstract".

Such color always attracts the eye, lifts the heart. Near St. John's, NL, Canada.

I see a heart here and it is just for you near St.John's, NL, Canada.

While these American Wigeons only spend part of the season on this Lake they do add color and wonder with their presence. St.John's, NL, Canada.

Scenic spot in North Vancouver, British Columbia

Goldsworthy Pier, located at the foot of Waterfront Park, is the smallest of the public docks in North Vancouver. This floating dock has limited space making it an ideal moorage option for locally based recreational vessels, and is suitable for small boats up to 11m. The Goldsworthy Gazebo can be booked for small weddings etc.

Cherry blossoms frame The Lions, two landmark peaks in the North Shore Mountains

[N]othing is more puzzling than the causes of skeletonization. Skeletonized plant leaves are but a shadow of themselves, with window panes of damage throughout the leaf. The reasons for skeletonizing leaves may stem from insect or disease and occasionally chemical injury. Most common are insect pests whose feeding behavior is along the veins of the foliage. Google

Just indulging my artistic creativity. I love reflections of all kinds.

Porteau Cove Provincial Marine Park

work for "The Endless" exhibition @ DAPHNE.ARTS gallery.

I loved how my colourful dock flower reflections in the lake were distorted and "mixed" by the wind and the swells in the water.

The browns are from the logs, the blue colour from the sky and the other colours from petunias etc. and plant leaves

Bluebird Estates

Perfect place to take the grandkids on a rainy Sunday in Vancouver.

Enjoy your day.

One way of making the most of a miserable, rainy day:-)

USA

The City of North Vancouver, in partnership with the Squamish Nation [The Squamish are Indigenous to British Columbia, Canada] has contracted the Vancouver Mural Festival to facilitate the creation of a mural of Squamish Nation artworks on the walls of the Spirit Trail, at the Mosquito Creek Marina.

The Squamish Nation is a vibrant and dynamic Coast Salish Nation, with a strong culture, rich history and bright future. Their main reserves are near the town of Squamish, British Columbia and around the mouths of the Capilano River, Mosquito Creek, and Seymour River on the north shore of Burrard Inlet in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Growing wild here on Bluebird Estates. Captured while boating.

Gaillardia /ɡeɪˈlɑːrdiə/ is a genus of flowering plants in the sunflower family, Asteraceae, native to North and South America. It was named after an M. Gaillard de Charentonneau, an 18th-century French magistrate who was a patron of botany. Wikipedia

PS I captured this image while seated at our table in a waterfront restaurant on Pier 39. This was a mere sliver of the late evening incredible view of the sparkling waters of the Bay of San Francisco, California, USA

Viewed through an opening in a huge willow tree that was cut down in Trout Lake Park

Click to see the details: Three cruise ships are docked at Canada Place and the SeaBus is on its way to the North Shore Terminal.

Enjoy your Friday!
