Be daring, be different, be impractical. Be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary."
–Cecil Beaton
I have been working on an Art Journal. This is one of my pages with one of my favorite things as the theme..... did you see the report about how good coffee is for you. Who knew.... I love the stuff either way.

It was a lot of fun finishing up the page we started on the last day of class! Can't wait to see what everyone else does with theirs!
I'm still going to keep going in this journal til it's full, but I won't keep posting in this group, since it won't be class work anymore. I hope to see you all over at the Art Journal Every Day flickr group!
Thanks for all the inspiration everyone! It's been an awesome time!
za inspirację dziękuję Ani-Marii :)

This page spread was inspired by Sandra Strait’s artwork, I truly admire her ohh so amazing art! You’ll find here Sandra here on Flickr.
This journal has the same dimensions as the Midori Traveller’s Journal, but the ones I use are cheap versions from Ali Express. So naturally I had to come up with a whole new name for my journals, and ”Kiroku adventurer’s notebook” came to be. I doodle, draw, write, use washi tapes, ephemera, postage stamps, paper clippings, memorabilia, rubber stamps, well anything that fit in the journal really.
Jet Black Art Pencil with Acrylic, Oil Pastel and Caran D'Ache on paper. With a digital overlay of original sketch.
Practicing simple flower designs from "Zenspirations, Letters & Patterning" by Joanne Fink.
These were colored with various Sakura Gelly Roll pens and Tombow markers.
Hope for a new school year with new students! Journal background done with gesso, acrylic paints, collage, stamps.

Just a note that "she" did actually get quite a lot of sleep after "she" finally went to bed after writing this entry . . . .
Handmade Art Journal: 250 4x6 inch pages made from scrap graph, lined, patterned and book paper. Canvas cover. Sari scrap closure. Turquoise fabric colored with Tattered Angels spray mist.
The finished spread embellished with swirlies in acrylic and gel pen. Added some text. Had an absolute blast with this one. Blogged at wildprecious.com/blog/2011/01/11/truth-wisdom-clarity/
