"I have been in business for a little over 6 years. Since then, I have had 3 different types of turf– ranging from used a football field to turf made specifically for dogs. I have looked at K9 Grass in the past, but it was out of my price range. Therefore, I always went with the cheaper options. After only 3 years of having my latest turf, I was fed up with the constant flooding and the dirty dogs! Any time it rained, all the yards would flood and dirt would come through the bottom– getting the dogs filthy. Being in South Carolina, this would happen a lot! Rinsing 50 golden
retrievers, doodles, and labs, every time it rained was getting old fast! I turned to K9 Grass and said “HELP!” Matt was extremely helpful and assured me my turf problems were over!
He and some of his team even flew down from Ohio to South Carolina to take a look at the project. They met with my landscaping company to make sure everyone was on the same page for the installation. The install crew definitely knew what they were doing– it was quick and easy! We have had K9 Grass for about a month now– and the difference is unbelievable! The turf drains wonderfully, you can’t see any seems, and the dogs are clean after swimming or rainy days! Even though K9 Grass is a little more expensive than the competition– I can assure you it is definitely worth it!"

Stop! Whatever you do, don’t install a K9 pet relief area without the proper drainage!!
Dog Run Drainage Performance is divided into 3 parts:
The drainage is affected by the surface area of the sub drainage touching the backer of the turf. If the urine has to find the holes and then find the holes in the drainage underlayment under a stretched and tightened turf that’s a big problem! (AirDrain has 100% vertical drainage all holes open with an inch of air, using gravity to drain the project)
Vertical drainage: How fast can the urine pass all the way into the underlayment ?
Horizontal Drainage: How fast can the urine be moved to the exit drain? (AirDrain is 92% air)
