Description : Korean houseware artifacts.

The simple, clear form of the Korean Pavilion was inspired by traditional Korean architecture. This one storey building made entirely of wood featured a main exhibition hall which housed Korea's exhibits. Korean art and manufactured goods were central themes in the exhibitions.
This intervention-exhibition presents artworks and installations across the galleries and public spaces of the McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum, and the Mills Observatory. The works conjure up an image of future artifacts, questions ideas of what we leave behind and reveals the hidden material cultures of our technological age. The audience can choose to hunt for these artifacts or find them by chance; either way they will provide new conversations between museum objects and their audience.

The Buttermilk Creek Complex in Bell County, Texas provides evidence of a human presence in North America that pre-dates the Clovis peoples, who until recently were thought to be the first humans to colonize the New World. The site’s pre-Clovis occupation is supported by numerous lines of evidence including OSL dates ranging from 13.2-15.5 ka, undisturbed stratigraphy, and an extensive stone tool assemblage.
Interestingly, Texas A&M manages this archaeological site in Salado, TX which is only 95 miles East of where I've recovered similar implements outside College Station. I've maintained these would someday prove the oldest recovered in North America, and after 30 months of research I'm convinced.
