Thanks to my partner Eli Medier for his poem:
"Run
before the cold reaches you
and freezes your thoughts
Under a crescent moon
and a strange lonely star
Three degrees
and even less in the wind
without defenses
Run
escape the spell
of the night
that infernal color
It is a purple
or a blue
they play dead"

DON'T GIVE UP
"If I knew how to free
this hand
prisoner of the tongue
this language
prisoner of the mind
this mind
prisoner of the heart
this heart
prisoner of worries
maybe I could free
the message that urges
chained
by the abyss"

This is one of my artworks in the series PUPPETS created in collaboration with Eli Medier that gave them a soul with his magical words
"Loving Bitter Love
they are strange visions
rustling of skirts
dreams to caress
Unknown words
of unlived lives
Secrets in the secret
images glimpsed
spells of alchemists
diabolical rose garden
Shining bodies
in quivering souls
Thrills of the mind
ghostly faces far away
signals in the hands
of a fleeting future
Intangible hearts
of uncertain new loves
Silent fantasies
mine yours invented
cautiously veiled
implausible ways
Cathartic evocations
Loving Bitter Love"

One of my artworks from the Exhibition FRAGMENTS showed at our new Gallery THE EDGE
"Where the glorious sailing ships
who plowed proud
all the seas of the world
invincible among the high breakers
and the hard cannon shots end?
And where the powerful trains
rushing with our lives
eager for distant horizons?
We all ended up stranded
among dark cliffs
of rusty scrap."

His machines soared in the skies
crossed the ocean depths
did the work for men
He looked into each person's body and mind
and tried to know of death
He admired the beauty of the forms
in still nature as in livings
He dreamed of a distant future
which has become our present
Perhaps he dared to go even further
but unfathomable silences is an existence
The end caught him wide-eyed in the sky
for an impossible answer
And we will never know

A very intruiging and emotional exhibition.
An art exhibition in the Oslo town hall, the artist, Dag Hol, was there painting his latest work for 3 weeks, he started with blank canvas.
We met him and talked to him while he was working...how wonderful is that!
Another poetic example of Alicja Kwade's sculptures. Two boulders talk in silence, but the noses do not point in one direction. Neither do the chairs.
The tension comes from inside. Stone is full of itself and does not let anything go. Some people don't do that either. They cherish an impenetrable history and petrify.
Both chairs are not made of wood. The burden they have to bear is far too great. Alicja Kwade has accurately recreated them from metal. The difference in model underlines a difference in character.

Photographed at the "Seekers Of Art" exhibition, April - August 2021. Museum of Russian Impressionism, Moscow, Russia
At the end of April the Museum of Russian Impressionism presented a unique exhibition" Seekers Of Art".
The project acquaints the Moscow public with a number of key works of Russian modernism at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, collected by private collectors between the 50s and 80s of the 20th century.
The focus of the exposition is works from the collections of 14 collectors in Moscow and Leningrad. Collections include paintings that have never been collected in one room for viewing to the audience.
The project looks in such a way that not only the work itself is demonstrated, but, first of all, the emphasis is placed on the personality of the collector himself - his life, profession, personal preferences when forming a collection. Detailed annotations for a number of paintings reveal the plot that prompted the artists to create them.
During the years of Soviet power, these collectors-creators collected and preserved paintings important for Russian and world art, risking not only money and property, but also their freedom.
i am going to hold an event in the historical building in early April, could you render some supports and click a like in my event page ? Many Thanks !! :-)
