I visited Seoul and South Korea for the first time in December 2023. My initial four day visit ended up extending by a week when I came down with the flu which was unfortunate. But, I still managed to explore a bit and enjoy the fascinating mixture of moods the story has to offer. To make matters even trickier, we had freezing weather with safety warnings over the cold.

Everywhere you go, the air of the town breathes antiquity. Here, a rarely seen corner of Villa de Leyva, a few blocks from downtown.
