l often drive with a camera in my lap and challenge myself to look for something to photograph every time l am stopped in traffic. This time it was a hand and reflection.

this took me around 4 hours to make. i used an HB pencil, medium charcoal pencil, and a blending stick :)
🎨 The artistic note : go and meet Annick Leroy, one of the most popular artists talented from Honfleur! The art of this sculptor was honored in the Jardin du Tripot. I was captivated by its mosaic fresco which illustrates the work of the tanners and dyers. A giant mosaic snail is also hiding somewhere, in the garden... The artist did not stop at the mosaic and also created two fountains especially for the park: one with 4 geese and a second, surprising and unique of its kind, THE CHILD WITH UMBRELLA, seen on this picture.
Cet espace est une invitation à la flânerie, un havre de quiétude, en plein cœur du centre historique de Honfleur. Mêlant histoire, culture et promenade au fil de l’eau, avec un côté zen qui inspire la sérénité. Situé sur un bras de la Claire, le jardin comprend de nombreux promontoires et points de vue sur le cours d’eau, dont la mise en valeur est maximale.
L’artiste Annick Leroy y a réalisé une fresque en mosaïque rappelant le travail de la corporation des tanneurs et des teinturiers. Elle a également conçu deux sculptures fontaines, dont celle que vous voyez sur cette image.
