The wonderful view over Canale Grande from the Rialto Bridge
I do not travel out of state very often, but today I traveled across the border into Wisconsin to visit the very beautiful Cascade Falls in the charming little town of Osceola, WI. The leaves are mostly dropped on to the forest floor, so there was not as much color as I was hoping for, but it was still a beautiful little spot. It took me a bit of time to get this photograph with the large crowds that day (it was on a Sunday, my photography mistake). I love exploring new spots all of the time and some of these have become new favorites for me. I am thankful that my beautiful and loving fiancé came along with me too. Thankful for the Lord's goodness in these small moments!
For when you want to go to the forest preserve
but you live ten miles away.
Just look up and imagine
a very precise sky
where energies intersect like a net
If you bounce upwards, it will catch you
and return you to Earth as well.

Mahmutlar beach underground #81
While exploring the beaches of Alanya, I parked my car in the Mahmutlar area and went down to the underpass ... What I saw impressed me so much that I returned to the parking lot behind the camera and again went down to the sea ...
Neptune Fountain, with Gloriette in the background
The garden axis points towards a 60-metre-high (200 ft) hill, which since 1775 has been crowned by the Gloriette structure.
Maria Theresa decided the Gloriette should be designed to glorify Habsburg power and the Just War (a war that would be carried out of "necessity" and lead to peace), and thereby ordered the builders to recycle "otherwise useless stone" which was left from the near demolition of Schloss Neugebäude.
Schloss Schönbrunn was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, the 13th district of Vienna. The name Schönbrunn (meaning "beautiful spring") has its roots in an artesian well from which the court consumed water.
The 1,441-room Baroque palace is one of the country's most important architectural, cultural, and historic monuments. The history of the palace and its vast gardens spans over 300 years, reflecting the changing tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs. It has been a major tourist attraction since the mid-1950s.[
Thanks for taking time to comment, always highly appreciated. have a very fine evening and a great upcoming week, dear flickr friends 🌞
Springtime waterfall season is finally upon us. The waterfalls are flowing near full force and as it continues to rain the water levels are continuing to rise. I am reminded as I think about how these waterfalls run and bring needed water and life to the things around it about how Christ is the living water that gives us eternal life. Our lives result because of His overflowing waters of grace and life that constantly nourish us as the waters nourish the earth!
French artist Moretti transformed a 32-meter-long ventilation shaft into an unusual, vibrantly colored work of art. Using 672 fiberglass tubes ranging in diameter from 2 to 30 centimeters, painted in 19 different colors, he covered the entire surface of the shaft to enhance its volume while maintaining its verticality, creating a bold and cheerful dynamic.

Nothing can be more beautiful than a child to the mother. A child is most precious to a mother. This shot shows a delicate tiny hand of an infant held, against the dark background, by its mother showing gradual changes of growth from birth to few months. The shot represents how everything else takes a back seat and child becomes the nucleus of life.

A low perspective can make a boulder with weird knobs on it (art?) look like an alpine zone in the high country with strangely shaped prehistoric menhirs.
