I was working on my photos late at night when I heard the sounds of sirens blaring, tires screeching, and police yelling over a megaphone.
I grabbed my camera and went out. This is what I saw right in front of my house. I took a few quick shots before a cop ordered me to get lost.
I never learned why those two people got arrested.

I was walking down the street when I saw this scene. Just had the time to make a few shots before a cup told me to get lost. I obliged promptly.

As M30128 approached us with law enforcement painted 3194 in the lead, the sun went into hiding on the Virginia side of the river as if on cue. Not the end of the world here, as the light hadn't fully swung to the side yet anyway. I set up expecting a more head-on view of them on the furthest main, which is the normal routing for freights in either direction to stay out of Amtrak and VRE's way. However, the dispatcher routed them down Main 3 to get a hot I031 past them. Had to scramble a bit to ensure none of the myriad tie piles blocked my view!

(Yes, it's totally dumb, but I was obsessed to wear this dancing banana costume! Sorry to those of you who have no clue where the reference quote comes from.)

There's a lovely patch of Sweet Pea flowers that grow in our neighborhood. Fortunately the plant loves to spread its wealth by sliding under the fence. Then yours truly has the opportunity each year to collect a few delightful specimens. When capturing images of the flowers in ice, I noticed the beginning of a new bud.
Kuwaitits staged a peaceful demonstration Sunday night at a public square opposite the State Security Building in South Surra due to the arrest of their kinsman and former lawmaker Dr Daifallah Bouramiya, who was detained Thursday for criticizing a ruling family member.
These were inspired by the Cantwell class Arrestor cruiser seen in Andor, the TIE Arrestor is an Imperial starfighter with two powerful tractor beam emitter dishes. It can be deployed to intercept, disable and tow Rebel starfighters suspected of stealing Imperial technology. It can also be used to capture Rebel personnel wanted for questioning.
This Imperial squadron has a purple accent colour, suggested by lamborghiniwafflesauce as the nemesis for Teal Squadron – the Imperial squadron leader’s TIE Arrestor is the one with more purple on it.
Thanks to Inthert for inspiration for the round cockpit design, who in turn was inspired TWP.

I'm losing hope
I tell you baby I'm going under
I can't help that you set my soul
On fire living under your command
Can't get enough
My heart is rippling, rolling like thunder
I can't help that I'm laying on the table
While my life is in your hands
You say that you can save me
But it's all part of your plan
But it hurts so good when you cut me open
Taken my heart and made me heartbroken
It's a ghost town here up in my chest
I'm going into cardiac arrest
(Ooh whoa oh) yeah you got me
(Ooh whoa oh) yeah you got me
(Ooh whoa oh) yeah you got me
Going into cardiac arrest

Santa Cecilia converte san Valeriano
San Valeriano incoronato da un angelo
Santa Cecilia predica a san Valeriano e san Tiburzio

Whilst I was editing up the shots of Amy, it was this one that I got lost in. If you get to see it bigger you can see that, plain as day, I'm totally evident and obvious in the reflection in her eyes. They're like glass. Except that makes them sound cold and hard, when in fact they're warm and inviting and capable of totally riveting you to the spot. I make no bones about it, any woman with eyes like this, has me hook line and sinker. End of chat.
Totally looking forward to shooting with her again, and to try and play on the ideas going on here. I promise not to gush and rave about her too much... ;-)
The Police made a swift arrest on Forest Road today. Found on Castel Wachsenburg nearly Arnstadt. Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls to here? ;-). I think, was for bad men also.
I couldn't really tell how the cops decided who to cuff and who to just confiscate alcohol from. The rules are: you can't walk around with an open container on the street or sidewalk. Some people just had to dump the beer, while this girl was cuffed, searched, and taken away.

Believe it or not, just a moment before this shot, Kendra was protesting quite loudly and accusing me of conspiring against her when the police came and told her that they needed to speak with her.
haha! It was Matt and Kendra's youth group wedding reception--for our M.S. and H.S. youth groups tonight. The police showed up just to visit and joke around with us. We pointed out the bride to the officers, and they pulled a little prank on her--completely straightfaced. It was their idea, not mine! But I just happened to have my camera ready for the "arrest". Conveniently enough...
What an impression on the teenagers! Their youth leader getting arrested...tsk...tsk... :)
This loosely fits in with today's FGR and the group "Loud and Noisy"...because Kendra's initial reaction was QUITE loud!
A very very old photo

Took it in last year February.

In the dim street lights, walking alone in a deserted street, I felt being followed. My footsteps became wider and quicker. Begining to panic and turning around. I saw a black shadow of a tall big man standing there with a knife in his hand. He suddenly rushed in and I ran as fast as I could. But the faster I tried to run, the slower I am. My body became heavier and staggered.
I collapsed...
He stared at me, knelt down, raised the knife..
AAAAAA. I screamt
.....
Immediately awoke and realized it was just a dream. I breathed relievedly, continued to sleep. And the next morning I had a fever.
About 3 months later, I had the same dream again, that man again, that street again, I collapsed again and I had a fewer in the next day again.
So, who was he? And what did that dream want to say? Still a mystery to me.
