The architectural complex known as the Popular Square in the center of Niterói, concentrates three buildings designed by Oscar Niemeyer. They are home to the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation, the Roberto Silveira Memorial and the Popular Theater of Niterói.

The Museum of Contemporary Art (in Niterói, state of the Rio de Janeiro) was projected by the internationally known and barely centennial architect Oscar Niemeyer. Suggesting the format of a flying saucer, was built between 1991 and 1996, awaking love, admiration and curiosity. It landed in his promontory, the museum detaches-itself by the its immaculate whiteness, against the backdrop in that the capricious nature exaggerated in its beauty.

Two identical towers but in inverted positions, connected on the ground floor and on four standard upper floors by bridge-like structures between the towers thus characterizing a single building.

Cemitério da Consolação is a cemetery in São Paulo, Brazil. Located along the north side of Rua da Consolação in the district of Consolação, it was founded on 15 August 1858, with the name of Cemitério Municipal, being the city's first public graveyard.
The cemetery is known by its pieces of funerary art, with graves, statues and mausoleums built and sculpted by artists such as Victor Brecheret, Ramos de Azevedo, Luigi Brizzolara and Galileo Emendabili.
The architect Ramos de Azevedo, who designed the monumental gate of the cemetery.

A estação foi construída como entrada para a Expo 98 e o seu design é correspondentemente espaçoso. As estruturas de suporte em betão armado do edifício no piso abaixo das vias são particularmente interessantes. Apesar da sua solidez, a estrutura de suporte transmite uma leveza visual e uma impressão futurista graças às suas formas arredondadas e ao curso inclinado mas simétrico dos pilares. A forma arqueada caracteriza o nível de entrada e é continuada em muitos pormenores, como a cobertura em forma de asa arredondada.
Quando entrei na estação do Oriente pela primeira vez, vindo do metro, a primeira coisa que me veio à cabeça foi o filme Metropolis. E isso ficou-me na memória. Continuo a achar este edifício colossal arrebatador e maravilhoso ao mesmo tempo.
The station was built as the entrance to Expo '98, and its design is correspondingly spacious. The reinforced concrete supporting structures of the building on the floor below the tracks are particularly interesting. Despite its solidity, the supporting structure conveys a visual lightness and a futuristic impression thanks to its rounded shapes and the inclined yet symmetrical course of the columns. The arched shape characterises the entrance level and is continued in many details such as the rounded wing-shaped canopy.
When I entered Oriente station for the first time, coming from the underground, the first thing that came to mind was the film Metropolis. And it stuck with me. I still find this colossal building oppressive and marvellous at the same time.

The railway station of S. Bento is one of the main tourist attractions of Porto. Located in the heart of the historic city , the São Bento Railway Station, inaugurated on October 5, 1916, is one of the city's ex-libris, and one of its main tourist attractions, of the building, by the architect Marques da Silva, is due to the unusual richness of its main lobby, covered with historic tiles, by the artist Jorge Colaço. The station was considered one of the most beautiful in the world by several travel magazines, such as "Travel + Leisure", "Flavorwire" and "Condé Naste Traveler".
A estação ferroviária de S. Bento é uma das principais atrações turísticas da cidade do Porto. Situada em pleno coração da zona histórica da cidade do Porto, a Estação Ferroviária de São Bento, inaugurada em 5 de outubro de 1916, constitui um dos ex-libris da cidade, e um dos seus principais polos de atração turística, seja pela arquitetura particular do edifício, da autoria do Arquiteto Marques da Silva, seja devido à invulgar riqueza do seu átrio principal, revestido com azulejos históricos, da autoria do artista plástico Jorge Colaço. A estação foi considerada como uma das mais belas do Mundo por diversas revistas de turismo, como a "Travel+Leisure", "Flavorwire" e a "Condé Naste Traveler".

The Schauspielhaus stands as a central building on the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin's Mitte district. The classical building is one of the main works of the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It was opened in 1821 as the Royal Playhouse, was from 1919 to 1945 Prussian State Theater, suffered severe damage in the Second World War and was reopened in 1984 after reconstruction and rebuilding. According to its now fundamentally changed use, it was given the name Konzerthaus Berlin in 1994.

Das Schauspielhaus steht als zentrales Gebäude auf dem Gendarmenmarkt im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte. Das klassizistische Bauwerk ist eines der Hauptwerke des Architekten Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Es wurde 1821 als Königliches Schauspielhaus eröffnet, war von 1919 bis 1945 Preußisches Staatstheater, erlitt im Zweiten Weltkrieg schwere Schäden und wurde nach Rekonstruktion und Umbauten 1984 wieder eröffnet. Seiner jetzt grundsätzlich veränderten Nutzung entsprechend erhielt es 1994 den Namen Konzerthaus Berlin.

Foi inaugurado em 1821 como o Royal Playhouse, foi de 1919 a 1945 o Prussian State Theatre, sofreu graves danos na Segunda Guerra Mundial e foi reaberto em 1984, após reconstrução e restauração. De acordo com seu uso agora, recebeu o nome Konzerthaus Berlin em 1994.

Grandjean de Montigny, arquiteto - 1820
O edifício da Casa França-Brasil foi encomendado em 1819 por D. João VI e projetado por Grandjean de Montigny, sendo o primeiro exemplo de arquitetura neoclássica no Rio de Janeiro. Inaugurado em 1820 como Praça do Comércio, tornou-se Alfândega em 1824 e teve diversos usos ao longo do tempo. Após anos de abandono, passou por restauração nos anos 1980 com apoio de Darcy Ribeiro. Em 1990, foi oficialmente inaugurado como centro cultural.
The Casa França-Brasil building was commissioned in 1819 by King João VI and designed by Grandjean de Montigny, marking the first neoclassical architecture in Rio de Janeiro. Opened in 1820 as the city’s Praça do Comércio, it became the Customs House in 1824 and served various roles over the years. After a period of neglect, it was restored in the 1980s with support from Darcy Ribeiro. In 1990, it was officially opened as a cultural center.
