This is a variation on the Last Word (recipe created by Evan Harrison while at Deep Ellum in Allston, now at Brick & Mortar in Central Square):

.75 oz Old Overholt rye

.75 oz Yellow Chartreuse

.75 oz Cynar

.5 oz fresh grapefruit juice

.25 oz fresh lemon juice

dash Deep Ellum aromatic bitters (not sure what DE's house bitters are like—I used Fee Brother's Aromatic)

grapefruit garnish

Shake and strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with grapefruit peel.
