La cabecera del Valle de Pineta forma parte del Parque nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido, junto con el macizo de Monte Perdido, Valle de Ordesa, Cañón de Añisclo y las Gargantas de Escuaín.
Se trata de un impresionante valle glaciar (en forma de "U") delimitado por altas y escarpadas crestas montañosas. Así, la cresta Sur o Sierra de las Cutas son una continuidad de picos entre 2500 y 3000 metros de altura
El cierre del valle es también una pared muy escarpada, con una sucesión de cascadas majestuosas, en cuya parte superior se encuentra el Circo y Balcón de Pineta, el Lago helado del Marboré y la pared Norte del Monte Perdido.

El Parque natural Posets-Maladeta es un Parque Natural en el norte de la comarca de la Ribagorza y noreste del Sobrarbe, en la Provincia de Huesca (España). Engloba dos de los macizos más elevado de los Pirineos.
Abarca los términos municipales de Benasque, Gistaín, Montanuy, Sahún y San Juan de Plan
Además del Aneto, también se encuentran en él otros picos como: la Punta d´Astorg (3 355 m), el Pico Maldito (3 350 m), el Pico del Medio (3 346 m), el Pico de Coronas (3 293 m), el Pico de Tempestades (3 290 m), o el Pico del Alba (3 118 m).
Son de interés sus morrenas e ibones ( Vallibierna, Cregüeña, Batisielles, los Millares, Remuñe), además de la flora y fauna propias del clima de alta montaña. Además del valle de Benasque, que es el principal, hay otros valles dentro del Parque Natural como el valle de Estós y el valle de Vallibierna.

Phase 3: can I let all of the inert gas out of the bulb and replace it with air, and keep the glass? Well, I knew it was possible, as lots of people have taken shots like this. No idea what they did but I suspect it was very similar. I drilled a hole in the cap round about the first groove in the thread using a Dremmel. Don't be tempted to blow the debris away from the hole - it will spatter the inside of the bulb with the yellow insulating/glue material between the cap and the bulb...
The rest of the technique as pretty much as before. I moved to using an Octabox on one Lencarta SF600 to light the bulb though, directly behind the bulb with a black foam-core in front of that so the soft-box was visible around the sides of the black foam-core. I did this to get an evenly lit edge to the bulb, which becomes important when you use clear glass bulbs.
This is my first experiment with the new [Ar III] (doubly ionized Argon) filter for the QHY miniCam8M astronomy camera.
This was shot entirely with narrowband filters, so it's a mapped color image. The mapping is a bit complex:
M57 -- [OIII] = Blue, [ArIII] = Green, [SII] = Yellow, Ha = Red
