We happened upon this beautiful statue while headed to the Heineken Brewery Tour. The tour was surprisingly neat and I got a great picture of a beautiful statue!
This is one of my favorite pictures from the trip. People, bikes, cars and public transportation all operating in the same place with no problem. Beautiful Architecture and colors on the buildings too.
Craigiebank Church, Corner of Craigie Avenue, Dundee. Listed but in a deteriorating condition. Demolition approval already passed by Historic Scotland. The Church does not have funds to cover the cost of repairs. They need to raise funds in order to demolish this structure. Part of the land will be sold to a property developer whilst a small portion will be retained and a new, smaller Church to be built in it's place.
Kings Place - close to Kings Cross and the Regents Canal. Home of the Guardian, plus an auditorium, cafe, art gallery and more.
Kind of depressing appartment blocks. Typical arcitecture that was popular in the 70's. They destroyed a lot of old houses for this type of buildings.
I like this though..
Hay's Galleria is a riverside shopping arcade and entertainment venue in the London Borough of Southwark situated on the south bank of the River Thames. It is a converted 'wharf', in fact an enclosed dock, built in 1856 by Sir William Cubitt and originally known as Hay's Wharf, named after its owner, the merchant Alexander Hay. During the nineteenth century, the wharf was one of the chief delivery points for ships bringing tea and cheese to the Pool of London.
