A goregous house in the wonderfully shaded neighborhood of Eastmoreland, Portland, Oregon.

The William P Cole House, Hurley, NY, phographed in 1907 by Dr. Nash who lived in the Elemdorph House in Hurley.

The earliest part of the house dates from the late 1600's. It is one of the few early Dutch Houses surviving in the Hudson Valley which has the characteristicly steep pitched roof. Comparing the 1907 photograph to the house today almost nothing on the outside has changed in the last 100 years.

This is my 3D restoration of ancient churches in Northern Russia

which do not exist now. They were destroyed in 1930 by thunderstorm.I regard them as important landmark of folk wooden architecture. Only 3 pictures left. Now it is possible to see the architecture monuments from different side. I

Shame about my exposure of the sky and i also couldn't take my tripod as it wouldn't fit in my suitcase so most of my plans went out the window!

Each side of the court would have a large vertical stone ring set high into the wall.

The exact rules of the game are not known for certain and in all probability there were variations across the various cultures and different periods. However, the main aim was to get a solid rubber (latex) ball through one of the rings. This was more difficult than it seems as players could not use their hands.
