El Nuevo centro metropolitano actualmente en proceso de gestación, se ubica en el área de los parques al inicio del Paseo de la República, y será un espacio urbano de transferencia de personas y servicios producidos en la concentración de opciones de comunicación entre los habitantes de la urbe conectados por el flujo incesante del transporte masivo, su intercambio de rutas y servicios según sus destinos y actividades personales en el cruce de las nuevas Líneas de los Metros 2-3 y el Metropolitano.
Esta zona urbana convertida en nodo central del área metropolitana será el sitio donde diariamente cruzarán miles de personas y se convertirá también en el núcleo significativo de una Nueva Cultura Metropolitana, producto de los intercambios inevitables entres sus habitantes y las modificaciones acaecidas en el espacio urbano, con sus nuevas visiones del entorno transformado por la concentración del transporte masivo, la reformulación del tiempo, la redefinición del uso de la calle y la construcción de un nuevo mundo subterráneo de las estaciones como hitos urbanos invisibles.
El espacio urbano convocante del futuro será de gran escala y de muchas opciones dado la condición popular masiva de uso interno por una numerosa población y la dimensión de los nuevos usos culturales, estará servido por accesos múltiples e inusitados a grandes espacios abiertos, los cuales estarán definidos por estructuras convocantes muy flexibles e integradas al territorio con diversos accesos de todo tipo, pues la Nueva Cultura se producirá en edificios urbanos de alta densidad donde se romperá el límite que separa el exterior del interior del edificio redefiniendo la condición urbana y prolongándola en el espacio verticalmente, recreando nuevas percepciones arquitectónicas inusitadas para el públicos asistente, que será un espectáculo en sí mismo, y donde las personas podrán descubrirse como grupo de identidades e intereses comunes, con los que provocarán la comunicación de las ideas y las experiencias humanas más importantes.

El fenómeno de la aparición del espacio implica la confluencia de una serie de condiciones, pero sobre todas ellas destaca una fundamental, la situación del ser humano en el centro de dicha confluencia. El principio en el que se sustenta como entidad formativa, es el acto por el cual el hombre hace suyas las experiencias territoriales, tanto en su sentido de permanencia y transitoriedad para configurar su propio espacio. Partiendo desde el reconocimiento del referente territorial y su consecuente análisis, siempre desde una perspectiva única, para dar paso a la génesis de los sistemas espaciales.

El texto acciona a manera de múltiples estímulos en el ejecutor, condicionando complejas consecuencias primarias de apropiación del espacio. Del estudio de movimiento corporal se diversifica, desdoblándose en fluidas consecuencias vivenciales, las cuales son posibles de ser organizadas en un programa elemental.
Toda secuencia se establece en un marco definido de tiempo que gira en torno al ejecutor. La materialización pasa por etapas a partir de la consecución de unidades generativas libres al ser organizadas pueden responder a los criterios definidos por el programa.
Cada unidad generativa es sometida a indistintos esfuerzos y su condición estructural se va modificando al movimiento de la secuencia completa. De esta manera se prioriza el conjunto. En donde secuencia, lugar y tiempo confluyen para permitirnos visualizar una propuesta física.

La vivienda consta de tres espacios importantes, dos destacan por las curvaturas que producen una triple y doble altura, generando sensaciones de amplitud espacial por la jerarquía de dichos espacios, siendo respectivamente la zona social y la habitación de la madre. El tercer espacio importante es el patio central, siendo el remate del proyecto. El tipo de vegetación utilizada son trepadoras rojas, el motivo por la cual se utilizó, es debido a la abundancia de ésta que permite una armonía en la vivienda actual ubicada en la ciudad de Huacho.
Posteriormente a una entrevista, se hizo una recopilación de los datos que permitió hacer una retroalimentación del tiempo vivido juntos como familia.

Back in the fall of 1994, I asked my girlfriend to draw up a design for the yearly t-shirt design competition at the school of architecture for the student society. The thing was that she was studying in Versailles, France and had to send the design by mail. (This was before the internets and email for you youngins.) I received the design, but it was a day too late and we couldn't enter it into the competition.
I was to graduate at the end of the school year, but she would have one year left to finish her degree in France. I had decided that I would join her for that last year. The problem of course was money. I did not know whether I would be able to get a job over there (my French was horrible), so during my last year in school I started looking for as many ways to gather up money as I could. I held down two jobs in addition to being a teaching assistant and a full course load. I didn't have a life, but how could I without her there. (awww.)
But when I got the design for the t-shirt, I knew that not only was it an excellent design, but that I could also make quite a bit of money off it. So I went to the local t-shirt shop and had 50 made up. Then I went from studio to studio during the late evening hours hawking them to as many students as possible for $10 each. They sold like hotcakes and I kept going back to get more made. I can't remember how many I sold, but I ended up with a net profit of about $500. That was a couple months of rent.
The slightly unethical part of it was that I was in charge of the t-shirt competition and for the selling of the t-shirts for the student society. But if memory serves, I did sell my shirts after the active sale of the society shirts had finished.

The world of Lord Armstrong - Victorian inventor, innovator and landscape genius. Cragside house was truly a wonder of its age.
The first house in the world to be lit by hydroelectricity. It is crammed full of ingenious gadgets – most of them still working. The gardens are incredible. One of the largest rock gardens in Europe leads down to the Iron Bridge, which in turn leads to the formal garden. Children will love our adventure play area and exploring Nelly's Labyrinth, a network of paths and tunnels cut out of a vast area of rhododendron forest

The following strategies are used to promote social security in Tehran's 22nd district:
- Trying to invite people to enter and stop in urban spaces
- Restoration of night activities and the implementation of cultural and artistic programs
- Arranging lightings
- Design and locating furniture and signs in the perimeter area
- Improving tourism applications - services in the region, which are appropriate to the peripheral texture
- Creating a dynamic and sustainable urban environment on a local or regional scale with a social security approach "Adopting behavioral patterns with physical patterns"
- Construction of multi-functional public spaces "Flexible Spaces" (community center and Plazas)
- Local planning and designing of for inclusive residents participation
- Try to raise the quality of social life in neighborhoods (increasing the quality of space with the approach of increasing social security)
- Appropriate distribution of welfare, educational, occupational, health services in neighborhood (social justice)
- Special attention to women and children and their activation in the project planning process to enhance neighborhood security for these groups.
- Long-term and short-term social and cultural planning by planners and designers to enhance neighborhood security.
- To create suitable cultural relations among different people in a neighborhood, especially young people and adolescents with middle ages, in order to increase empathy and reduce the distance between generations.

A spring visit around one of the selected sites for the North Essex Garden Communities, 'West Braintree'. As it stands, the site is very much quintessential Essex countryside, with productive agricultural land and rustic villages nearby, including: Finchingfield [ranked one of the nicest places to live by the Sunday Times], Great Sailing, Shalford, Great Bardfield and Wethersfield. Of the three potential locations, this is site has arguably the least existing infrastructure to support the new community, although does have nearby access to the A120 and Stanstead Airport. However, one must question the feasibility of this new community, and the infrastructural impact it will have on the surrounding scenic villages.
A seemingly 'homely' looking garden wall amongst the chaos of the groundworks is visible from the main road.
I recently re-visited a town I know very well, Halstead. A place that is currently undergoing many new changes in the landscape, particularly around the greenfield fringes of the town, including the development of multiple housing estates which are located on land which was previously used for agriculture. These estates, including the one I've just visited (below) raise a whole host of questions about the future of the town, but also as a nation, questions about our ever-diminishing relationship with the rural landscape and nature. Should we continue to pave over the countryside? Build now, think later - I think not.
