The Temple of Zeus, Aizanoi, near Çavdarhisar, Western Turkey. Believed to be constructed during the reign of Domitian 1st century AD (i think)
Kanlıkavak Park in Eskişehir. Name translates literally as "blood poplar" and yes, there are clusters if red poplars in the park.
Construído sobre el caudaloso río Ebro y a una distancia de unos 800 metros de la ciudad de Frías, es sin duda uno de los mejores ejemplares de puentes fortificados de la España medieval. Probablemente de origen romano y reconstruído en la Edad Media. Recordemos que por estos territorios se movía habitualmente la romana "Legión VII Gémina", que fundaría León Y Lugo, entre otras ciudades de origen romano. La torre defensiva fue añadida en el siglo XIV para controlar el paso y cobrar el peaje o tributo de Pontazgo.
El puente fue construido (o reconstruido) como una de las consecuencias de la repoblación de la ciudad por el rey Alfonso VIII, contribuyendo a su asentamiento. Suponía una interesante y acertada alternativa para todos cuantos necesitaban atravesar el caudaloso y bravo río Ebro en su camino entre la Meseta y la Rioja hacia los puertos cantábricos.
Frecuentes y necesarias han sido las reparaciones que ha sufrido el puente a lo largo de los siglos. La última de estas reparaciones tuvo lugar el año 1.981.
Consta de nueve arcos. Tiene una longitud de 143 metros y 3,45 metros de anchura. La altura superior sobre el nivel del agua es de 11,30 metros.
Sobre su gracia, perfección y belleza, creo que nadie necesitará asesoramiento.

The Marciana Library or Library of Saint Mark is a public library in Venice, Italy. It is one of the earliest surviving public libraries and repositories for manuscripts in Italy and holds one of the world's most significant collections of classical texts. It is named after St Mark, the patron saint of the city. The library was founded in 1468 when the humanist scholar Cardinal Bessarion, bishop of Tusculum and titular Latin patriarch of Constantinople, donated his collection of Greek and Latin manuscripts to the Republic of Venice. The Venetian government was slow, however, to honor its commitment to suitably house the manuscripts with decades of discussion and indecision. The original library building is located in Saint Mark's Square, Venice's former governmental center, with its long façade facing the Doge's Palace. Constructed between 1537 and 1588, it is considered the masterpiece of the architect Jacopo Sansovino and a key work in Venetian Renaissance architecture.
While the last few publications testified to modern glass and concrete architecture in Italy, this picture shows a façade that corresponds to the architecture of past centuries. It is the birthplace of Andrea Doria, the actual ruler of the Republic of Genoa, born in 1466. I don't think the house still looks like it did over 550 years ago. But it should have a few 200-300 years under its belt.

The history of the town of Breskens (Zeeland-Netherlands) as an agricultural and fishing village converges on the grain silo in the fishing port.
The immense painting "Bread and Fish" by the painter Johnny Beerens adorns the 38 meter high buidling and refers to the biblical story of the miraculous multiplication of the 5 loaves and 2 fish as food for the attending crowd.

About the tower:
The First National Bank Tower is a 634 ft., 45-story skyscraper at 1601 Dodge Street in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Completed in 2002, it is currently the tallest building in the city of Omaha, and in the state of Nebraska, and has been since its completion, overtaking the 478 ft., 30-story Woodmen Tower located nearby. It was built on the site of the former Medical Arts Building, which was imploded on April 2, 1999, to make way for the current skyscraper. Inside the glass lobby is a large section of the ornamental facade from the former Medical Arts Building that once stood there.

The High Line is an elevated park situated on the former railroad overpass along the Hudson River. New York was a bustling port in the past, and the railroad was used to transport different kinds of food and goods.
Nowadays, it is a beautiful park in Manhattan that offers amazing views of the neighboring streets. In recent years, it has become surrounded by high-rise buildings designed by some of the world's most famous architectural firms.
