Musée d'Orsay, Paris. This was a day where the clouds were very white and pretty boring so I make it into a dramatic black and white. I really liked those statues and I think it works great with the dramatic sky.

i love nothing more than views from above, so wherever i am, if there's a tower somewhere i need to climb it up. this is the view from the tower of church st. marien in celle – you get there by a long, narrow spiral staircase that eventually makes you feel slightly dizzy, but it's definitely worth the view!

In Williamson Park, Lancaster.
The Ashton Memorial has been compared to the Sacre Coeur in Paris and St Peter's in Rome. It is open to the public yet still off the tourist beat. The memorial has a wonderfully Edwardian feel. In the midst of the Great Depression, moneyed young gentlemen and their female companions would flock to lavish, impromptu parties thrown by Lord Ashton's son, Charles Meadowfield.
