Competition entry for International Design Competition of Tent Hotel, in cooperation with Xuberance.
Design solution for rapidly developing China, taking advantage of the most recent technologies in architecture. This concept of temporary housing using 3D printed tent structures aims to to minimize the impact on natural environment (energy consumption, pollution…). It can serve for both the recreation purposes and refugee camps in a case of sudden natural disaster.
The goal was to propose the tent-themed hotel which can adapt to various climates, convenient to build up, promote sustainable development. A site like this can be populated with buildings within couple of days.
We paid special attention to neat composition and details to get the most realistic visuals.

These are the renders to showcase our 1st semester master project at Architecture & Design at Aalborg University.
Sam Aslanian Architect designed and managed the City of Los Angeles Planning Department entitlements for a 138-unit apartment building located in the NoHo Arts District. Project includes two levels of subterranean parking garage, seven levels of residential units, roof decks with recreation room and community pool, two courtyards, fitness center and theater. Pursuant to Measure JJJ passed by Los Angeles voters encouraging higher density developments near transit stations, this project utilizes Transit Oriented Communities (T.O.C.) Tier 3 density bonus and will set aside 7 affordable units for low income households. Site is located walking distance to North Hollywood Transit Station, many restaurants, stores, and attractions. Construction scheduled to start spring 2021.
