"The exhibition of the Hungarian Pavilion shows the training method called the "Carpathian Basin Model". The essence of this particular part of the Hungarian archiecture training program is that students plan for a community, then, together with that community, they create a useful, common building with different forms, and not only in Hungary but also in the surrounding countries throughout the Carpathian Basin." quote from the Fundamentals Catalogue.

I've been working on building a 1/32 inch scale topo out of chipboard. My genius idea was to make it with tiny (~3") squares. So after sitting down in the basement cutting the topo with the laser for around eight hours, I was stuck with popping out, keeping track of, and gluing thousands of small to tiny pieces of cardboard. But as I'm getting closer to finishing, I'm glad I did it this way…I think.

The front part - Goat Castle itself - was constructed in the middle of the 15th century as one of several such "storehouse/keeps" in the area. In the late 19th century, an addition was built-on in the rear to serve as the Dalkey Town Hall.
Subsequent changes more recently have transformed the building into the Dalkey Heritage Center - and it is now generally referred to as "Dalkey Castle". It's used for a number of civic and cultural events - including the Dalkey Book Festival.
