This Friday you can meet me in person at the 'ABC Treehouse' in the Voetboogstraat 11 for the grand opening of the 'MultiCulti'* photo exhibition, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, free entry. There'll be drinks and we are also very proud and excited about the fact that our good friends from ArchiChef agreed to supply us with some of their super-delicious Design-food for the opening, yay :))
If you ask me nicely, I might even streak the crowd, once I'm drunk enough, hahaha ;-D
* Please note that the 'MultiCulti' show is part of GRID 2010, 4th International Photography Biennial, and of course the 'AmsterSam World Domination Plan'!

Yesterday I went to the Westerpark to visit some friends at their stand on the 'Sunday Market' and it was all fun&laughs...then I biked home and was waiting at this street crossing when this old'ish, suited Dude came from behind on his bike and started barking at me to move to the side...
There were about 3 meters of free street to my side, so I smiled at him and pointed out that he (and most of his friends, if he had any) could easily pass by without a shouting-match, but he did not accept that, saying that the oncoming traffic had to travel there, not exactly a valid argument, as they managed just fine to 'squeeze' by us, so to make his point, he *gasp* PUSHED ME off my bike! Keep in mind, all this time I was smiling at the guy, and I guess he took that for weakness, so once I half-fell of the fabulous Lord Bikenheimer, he jumped off his ride, ready for some fisty-cuffs, while I was still busy wiping the smile off my surprised face! Instead of accepting his challenge, I hopped back on my bike and crossed the street to watch the Retard get back on his, and drive off...without me beating him to the pavement as he passed me, lucky him :)
I need to add, I am not a mean guy, but I'm bald&bearded and I CAN look at you in ways that'll make you wish you had not crossed my path, and it was the guy's luck that he caught me completely off-guard, in a very chilled-out, a-day-in-the-park mind-set or I would have introduced him to the heavy, mean, metal parts of the lock that I keep hanging from my steering-wheel for just these kind of situations...but yeah, I'm not a mean guy, like I said, so I would very likely not have hurt him (any more than necessary!), if possible, hehe ;-P

Yesterday it was the last time that I was at the 'ABC Treehouse' for the AMS * NYC * AMS exhibition as the 'Artist in Residency'. The exhibition will continue until the 29th of this month, so you can still go and check out my wicked reflections in real life, but I won't be there to offer you some free coffee or cookies :)
This picture is taken at the beginning of the Voetboogstraat where the Treehouse is located. Have a relaxed, joyful Sunday, I need to recover from that massive Double-Birthday party that I went to after spending the day hanging out at the gallery, the plan was to just quickly pop in&out to say Hi to the birthday folks, but I ended up drinking and smoking with the fun crowd until late at night...I'm staying on the couch today to regain some strength to face the fresh week starting tomorrow :)
P.s. One of the reasons why I hung around much longer than I had planned was the superdelicious food that my friends from the new and cool ArchiChef service created for this special occasion, check them out if you're planning to build a house or having a party/dinner/special event with some seriously good chow :-P

On October the 4th a new Art exhibition started at the 'ABC Treehouse' in Amsterdam, featuring 10 of my wicked puddle reflections :D
The theme is "AMS * NYC * AMS an artistic look at a 400 year affair". Exhibition and Special Events, 4 October – 29 November 2009. At the ABC Treehouse, Voetboogstraat 11, 1012XK Amsterdam (the link goes to Google Maps).
Public viewing hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Time 13h00 to 18h00. Free admission.

Vediamo un po’ chi è stato il cuoco più bravo della sfida Hub Design & Kitchen presso MoDì di Mendrisio? Tra i gentili colleghi ed ex compagni di Accademia di Architettura, la più brava a comporre l’antipasto di bottarga alla Pollock, Mullefoglie di vitello con lardo e porcini e dessert, secondo la severa giuria è stata l’architetto russa di adozione luganese. Evviva! Ringraziando gli organizzatori, non vedo l’ora di partecipare ai prossimi eventi spettacolari!
Кто же это, самый опытный и подкованный среди молодых талантливых архитекторов в области высокой кухни по мнению Hub Design & Kitchen в Швейцарии? Среди коллег и товарищей однокурсников академии архитектуры, лучшей по мнению строгого жюри в приготовлении закуски а-ля Поллок, слоёной телятины с беконом и грибами и нежнейшего десерта, стала архитектор русского происхождения, проживающая и творящая в Лугано. Я! Ура! Поблагодарив организаторов, еду домой с подарками и мужем, заваленным комплиментами!️️️
