In many cases the first things that rise up from a skycraper construction pit are the elevator shafts. And with De Rotterdam there's no exception. A worker is seen here installing the modular molding system for the construction of one of those shafts. The flag he wears on his sleeve is Portguese - the Zublin construction crew is an international one

This place is only few minutes walking distance to where jazz and blues was once hotspot called Deep Ellum:
